Judgement Road By Christine Feehan 🌟🌟🌟 I recently finished a reread of the first 5 Black Dagger Brotherhood books. I pretty much don’t like beyond that, so I needed a new read. That’s how I ended up with this book from Christine Feehan. Well, that and it was one of the first on the search results at my library for motorcycle romance. For an MC romance, this one is one of the better ones I’ve read in a long one. It’s a small, new club that’s trying to fly under the radar. There’s a twist to this club that I fell in love with. It made the whole series unique and different. Reaper is a multilayered hero that was, at times, difficult for me to connect with. It felt like his story was almost too complex for a single book. Which is not to say it’s a bad thing, just not my thing all the time. I had to give this 3 stars because it felt almost like 2 books in one. The romance story and the suspense of the MC story. The tie between the two is thin, but it’s there. Both stories separately have the potential to be 5-star books because they could have been fleshed out more. Wild Ride (Powertools: Hot Rides Book 1) Jayne Rylon 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 So let me start by saying I discovered Jayne with her Powertools series. I fell in love with the entire crew. So of course, I had to read Hot Rods when they came out. Quinn is Roman’s brother and I loved his story in Barracuda’s Heart. Which brings us to this book. It’s Quinn. I had to read it. Jayne did not disappoint. In fact, she wrote one of my favorite Books yet. There is so much heart, heat, and emotion in this story. Seriously....DELICIOUS. I devoured this book in 1 day and risked getting in trouble at work just to read Quinn, Trevon, and Devra’s story. There are twists I didn’t see coming. Cameos from my favorite Powertools and Hot Rods, and some incredible sexy times throughout. The emotional connection these three share radiates off the page. I’ve already pre-ordered the next book in the series (Slow Ride) because the intro to the characters meshed so well with Devra and her men. My Favorite Half-Night Stand by Christina Lauren ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was a fantastic feel good romance. There’s a touch of humor with some serious feels. I loved the group dynamic and actually was hoping there would be more stories from the rest of the group. But with the ending, I’m not sure if those are in the works. I highly recommend if you love some heat, but not a lot of details. The sparks between Reid and Milly were incredible and their desire for each other, not just physically, leaped off the page.
