Hey so I know I haven't used this blog in forever but I need advice.

1) I was sexually assaulted recently and it's been very hard to cope and deal with since it's brough up memories of past incidences. Does anyone have any advice to even just stay afloat after this happens? I'm more anxious and stressed than before; I'm even getting muscle spasms in my back due to stress.

2) I seem to be reaching/going through autistic burnout right now. But the problem is that last time that happened and I became more nonverbal and unable to do a lot of things, I was on a gap year from school. But I'm currently in the middle of the semester right now. Any advice for completing my schoolwork when I am experiencing burnout?

I'm just really struggling right now. I know if I didn't have my friends I would be in an even worse place, but it's just been hard. Please help me out maybe if you have any suggestions, you can message me or reply to this or whatever.

Somehow, it’s 90% of the time easier for me to spontaneously do something (if I have the spoons) than to spontaneously not doing something I was prepared to do.

It’s similar for me. I think it’s because the underlying problem is changing plans. If I was expecting to be doing something, and then all of a sudden I’m not, plans have changed, expectations are broken, and I don’t know how to deal with it. If I’m spontaneously doing something, often what that means is that my plan was, in a sense, “I don’t have a plan, and am just going to roll with whatever happens”. While that’s more stressful than having a well defined plan, it’s way less stressful than having a defined plan that falls apart.

Whether you hide your stims or share them openly with the world, we feel it is important to support neurodiverse people in their natural coping techniques.

Who Can Enter: This is a worldwide giveaway open to neurodiverse people with a use for stim toys, as well as parents or guardians entering on behalf of a neurodiverse person.

CLOTHING FOR DISABLED PPL UPDATE so I’m in the process of moving but by June 10th I will have available:

a weighted vest with a chewable drawstring and a hood. v deep BIG (fit an ipad inside) sized pockets with fringes inside. you can chose to close it with big snaps or a zipper. lots of space in the armpit. the trim and hood will be a different color/pattern than the main, and you’ll be able to buy many different colors or sizes.

all these come in every size. it’s priced by size and thin ppl have to pay too

everything will come in space/plant or plain designs

all the pockets can fit an ipad mini in them and will have fringes inside for stimming
