just finished the book in memoriam by alice winn and i will never be the same person. i am sick. i am empty. i am overflowing and also broken i do not think i will ever recover from this book. there's 44 works on ao3 and i have read 90% of them. i need this book to become wildly popular so i get more content because i miss them so dearly already

just for anyone who still says bucks reaction to eddie leaving for texas is normal best friend behavior- both of my best friends went out of state for college this year while i'm still in state taking a gap year

i've said it once (read: several times- my friends are probably growing tired of it) and i will continue to say it for as long as i must: several (not all, but a few) problems in wicked would have been solved if elphaba glinda and fiyero were just a throuple. i rest my case.

eddie pisses him off and buck threatens to move to texas. someone vaguely annoys eddie and buck is like "careful he might move to texas!" buck and chris do something just them for a day and before they leave buck is like "don't go moving to texas while we're gone!"

after they're together, whenever eddie does something that annoys him, buck prints off zillow listings for homes in el paso and just tapes them up in the walls around the house. eddie is 10 minutes late coming home from the grocery store and buck texts him- did you go to texas?

they get engaged and buck bars texas from being their honeymoon spot because "eddie might not come back if we do!" everyone except for eddie finds this all immensely hilarious and buck keeps it up for the rest of their lives
