I think I really downplayed just how traumatic it was to be homeless even if it was just for a bit. It’s been a little over three years since it happened but it still fills me with this kind of sick anxiety when I think about it and once I was out of it I was so afraid to leave my house for a while

Not to get too personal on my silly jokey fandom blog but when I “joke” about how samurai flamenco and Masayoshi as a character changed my life I’m not like entirely joking. Like I am joking but there’s also some aspects of truth to it because even though I’m an adult now and things are a lot different for me now, I first watched it as an undiagnosed neurodivergent + queer teenager who was experiencing a lot of shame and rejection for who I was and it just felt so healing seeing a character who was just like me at the time
