cause seeing their fucking art blew up made me sick on a level indescribable

like what’s the purpose of their art? and posting it with tags? i can’t even call it fanart cause it’s clearly not made by a fan and it’s not made out of love. what does it try to convey? its sole purpose of creation is only for engagement and the entertainment of ppl’s reactions to it for themself and i’d go there and say it’s a form of mocking to the player and the whole nbatwt community let along nbarpf artists and as a fanartist it’s so fucking sad to see

KING GIZZARD’S GIZZYTOWN!

I’ve had sketches for this bootleg project laying around since late 2022 and I finally dedicated time to it! Over the past month or so when I’ve had free time,I’ve been slowly getting through these little vintage childrens book inspired illustrations. 🐊✨ Fun fact: I went to school for illustration and wanted to pursue a career in books for kids, so doing this fanart feels like a big full circle moment haha! I took a lot of inspiration from one specific illustrator with a whole bunch of my own style and touches in them. I also did a lot of thinking and research on how I’d approach albums + song references, so I hope you enjoy them!

The plan right now is a limited run of 11 x 17 Risograph prints which I’ll have online + at Field of Vision/NYC this summer. I’ve also got some stickers and mini booklets in the works, so keep your eye for the drop! For now, I’d love to hear which one is your favorite. :o) Thanks for looking, excited for the shows in August!
