it happens. people forget he’s not just some inanimate thing, here to serve and respond and react. he can hold a conversation, he can come up with good and logical ideas. he is every bit the galahad that eggsy once was. if not better. 

it grates on cal more than he lets on, if not only because he’s worried they might decide to switch him off if he starts acting any way they didn’t anticipate. he’s not meant to want to be his own person, after all.

cal knows his own strength too. there is not a single part of him that wasn’t designed to protect kingsman, its assets, and its secrets. if it’ll take a fight to keep gawain’s silence, then he will give them a fight.

true to his word, he doesn’t ask again. ( málaga, 2025. galahad has to improvise and uses a piece of piping as an offensive weapon. ) cal wraps a hand around a close by piece of railing and wrenches it free, and wastes no more time before lunging at them.
