so my college has screwed me over as per usual and i got told that even though my scholarship petition was approved, i won’t be having it paid out of the fall semester because of some stupid bullshit. i don’t have a good enough credit score for a private loan, it seems payment plans for the fall semester are over, and i get paid via chap35 benefits which require me to be taking classes, which an unpaid account makes me unable to do. i’m gonna be going over to a few people tomorrow to hopefully try and figure something out but it’s not looking great, and classes start the 20th. i can hopefully attend some late classes if worst comes to worst but yeah for right now it’s looking like i’ll have to at least pay part of it. dropping out is straight up not an option so if i can’t pay it i am gonna try and find a workaround somehow so

i was thinking about maybe doing an event to encourage donations but to be fucking honest right now i’m so exhausted from recovering from my college screwing me over and making me almost homeless i am just braindead so

Concept: a nonplayable mech chassis that is hinted at at least once in every other license of the manufacturer. It's experimental, it's abandonware, it's under development, it escaped(?), it's mothballed, it's single production, it's never the same story twice. it's really weird watching people complain about Lancer RPG, and the Core Rulebook's "bias" against SecCom. Like we're talking about a faction that came to existence and leadership by activating a weapon that will permanently wipe out the habitability of a planet and that weapon will take hundreds if not thousands of years to reach its destination. And their final action as a faction was to again, use a "total biome kill" weapon to wipe out a species that was just trying to protect itself from cholera or some shit. Like you have these aliens, the only other species besides humanity that are known to have language and that we can talk to, and they get infected by a human disease, and that starts killing them on mass, and they misinterpret that as an attack, so they fight "back." And second committee responded by committing genocide. That was their first reaction. No diplomacy, no quarantines, just activate an ecocidal and genocidal weapon to wipe out a species. So please tell me how the corebook is "biased" against a faction of space nazis. Like seriously. It's a self-report.

With the upcoming major update I thought it was time to actually make a post about my LANCER homebrew supplement. I'll be putting out mech specific posts to go over design philosophy and changes and such. I don't believe in sales pitches (its free anyway), but if you like sick ass mech art, have an interest in homebrew, or wanna beat me to death its worth checking out. Its got 1 License and 2 alt frames per manufacture (and one for GMS), and will be receiving 4 more licenses in the next month or two.
