The narrative that acts like feminists inappropriately insert their politics into everything while men mind their business is a farce. Men insert their politics and male agendas into jokes, television, journalism, children’s books and movies, toys, religion, social common sense, cultures, traditions, classrooms, the economy and the entire system of human living . The only difference is that the male has declared himself the voice of objectivity: going against men is challenging nature itself.

being in your youth can be so agonizing like the world is burning and the US is doing god knows what and one million other terrible things are happening and you’re so overworked and exhausted that all you can do is buy your groceries with reusable bags and skim headlines knowing vaguely that they’re prophecies of terror and feel ashamed you don’t know more than you do but your mental health is already so bad you just have to take your 10 minutes off to try to scrape together some meaning and peace as it all starts to crumble around you and yet here in your home on your laptop you still have deadlines and the streets outside are quiet and you can’t breathe

You make lists in your head about what you want in a lover, like brown hair and a sweet voice. A sharp mind and a soft heart, a sense of humor that actually makes you laugh like you mean it. This and that. And it’s all bullshit. Because people aren’t lists. And I’ve always wanted to be the person who made someone realize that. I want to come across someone with a list in their head that is nothing like the person I am, and I want to show them what they didn’t even know they were looking for. People who think they know what they want are fooling themselves. Nobody really knows what they want. Not until it’s right in front of them.

i have literal object permanence when it comes to my opinion on children. right now in the presnce of 0 children or 0 mentions of children i could not be more neutral. when im around a cool baby who like smiles at me or is bein funny & is maybe wearing a cute hat im like :))) “i want 30000 babies” but then if i hear one (1) singular child cry on a plane i think “Having children is a societal expectation thrust upon women by the patriarchy therefore i”
