today was surprisingly productive! i studied a whole lot for my driver's license test, did some organising for my post finals life (imat prep here i come), i begun reading the perks of being a wallflower for the 5th time, and i started writing for my side blog i created for book reviews!

i can't believe highschool will be over in 3 days. five whole years ending just like that doesn't seem real in any way

Early this morning I started researching ideas for my psychology thesis. It was rainy and there was no sugar for my coffee, but I’m happy to have started! I now feel closer to finding my thesis topic ♡

What do you mean that June is almost over? What even is time? And most importantly, why is time?

I have not been dealing very well with the heatwave, my energies and ability to focus are on a huge low at the moment. Sometimes I just need to lay on the floor to regain a human temperature. This week I would like to start the actual planning of my thesis chapters in order to be able to finally start writing, despite still having some stuff to read. But I really need a change in work and hopefully doing that will energize me a bit. Aside from the heat and the thesis plans, I have been reading graphic novels and doing sudokus in my free time, as well as some embroidery when I can. I do need to buy some new yarn, which I might do tomorrow if I can fit that in my to dos for the day.

19.05.2022 // Started the day off very late today but the vibes when reading in the morning are always so good. Tbh very little productivity bc i was stuck at work for half the day but nighttime is my best friend when it comes to studying.

Today was uneventful, it's been a bit difficult for me to understand these theories because they are so damn abstract!

Either way, been revising the Theory of Structuralism and Psychoanalysis.

Also, I completed my Arabic revision early in the morning so it's been kinda productive, I guess.

Tomorrow's To-Do List:

Complete Theory of Psychoanalysis by Lacan

Arabic class prep

Internship task submission (I've been stalling this for 3 days)

Revision of previous topics

Attend a mandatory communication class arranged by my department

In my opinion, summer classes must be banned. Literally. Especially when they are on basic soft skill topics. Online that too!

It's just me and the duckies against the heat (34°C for a Polish person is like standing at the open gates of hell 🫠). Found an ash tree though, I think :) Now I know I'm lying here under ashes and beeches! Reading my atrociously old copy of The Plague (for like the fourth time I'd say?), one of my most beloved books.
