Preston was somewhere between slightly devastated and a full on mental break down. He’d been told to stay away from Anna and grovel from afar, but he wasn’t sure if that was the best advice. On top of it all, Eden seemed was acting like a sour patch kid - so sour when she came over and ruined his plans with Anna, but now so incredibly sweet that it had him scratching his head. Either way, he needed outside advice, and maybe some dessert. “Yes, give me all the French Food, especially if it’s filled with sugar. Tea bar? Aren’t you turning fancy on me,” he teased, despite his miserable mood. He moved to hold the door open for her, the smell of the pastries hitting them as soon as the barrier was broken. “Oh god, that smells like heaven. Ava, I’ve got one hell of a story to tell you. Hurricane Eden is back in action.”

“Well there’s dark chocolate tarts or you can always go for tiramisu. I’ll just let you go wild with the menu.” she replied as she walked into the bakery cafe. “Fancy? Non. It’s just tea Preston.” The brunette stood in line behind the few customers in front of them and raised her brows. “Eden? I’m surprised I’m hearing about this from you first and not Anna. You can fill me in after we get our order.”

Aveline made arrangements with a friend to watch the baby so she’d be able to spend time with Preston uninterrupted. The girl made her way down the crowded street to the familiar shop, she’d been going to since she was in high school, luckily it hadn't been wiped out from the flooding. She stood outside the patisserie and waited on her friend to walk up. As soon as she saw the tall brunette she ran up and smiled. “You ready to fill yourself with French food and tell me all of your deep, dark secrets? There's a tea bar too, and I thought you might could use some alongside the chocolate.”

Task 004: Living Space

Aveline has lived in the apartment since she was 22, or 4 years. Leaky pipes and thin walls is what she pays for, but it’s all she can afford.

Upon walking in you move through a small hallway which leads into the kitchen/living area on the left. The apartment is small and has a single room to right of the kitchen. To get to the bathroom you have to walk through her room.

She made the best of what she had and overtime the apartment became a cozy area filled with unique thrift store finds.

The main colors in the apartment are blues, oranges, and cream/beige.

The storm had left a shattered window in her kitchen and dark circles under her eyes. Aveline had dealt with Nicoline all weekend, trying to keep herself calm the entire time was anything but easy. Worrying that Elias was trying to get in touch with her never left the back of her mind either. The brunette took it upon herself to check in on him. He hadn’t responded to the few messages she sent before the service in her area was cut and she was anxious about it. As soon as the door opened after knocking and waiting a couple moments, she immediately started apologizing. “Eli. Oh my god, you’re okay right? I’m so sorry if you were worried about Nicoline, I tried texting you but my service was out after poles starting falling. I actually lost power too... Anyway, I’m really really sorry. Nic’s fine, I mean I think she has a cold, but I’ve been taking care of her and it doesn’t seem serious enough to take her to the pediatrician.” She let out a breath and shook her head. “I didn’t come to annoy you with rambling. But I figured you’d want to see her.”
