How would you define tomboy?

"The word 'tomboy' has always encapsulated women whose interests were more aligned with those of men. And to a lot of people that's still what it means. But as times have changed, I think the definition of a tomboy has changed. To me, a tomboy is a woman who believes in self-confidence and can't be bothered with acceptance. A woman who doesn't succumb to traditional gender roles. The kind of woman who will spend her last pennies on a beautiful pair of pumps but runs straight for her sneakers when she has a chance."

What are the biggest perks of being a tomboy?

"Sneakers, messy hair and little to no make-up."
