i was just gonna read one issue but knuckles is next and I MUST read it or ill die

before i just blaze through to the next issue i should talk abt the second issue. i rlly love amy’s writing but i remember her back when idw first started publishing this comic ppl compared her to sally and i totally get that. but i feel like shes different enough than sally, their dynamic and banter feel different (tho i mostly remember sally from right when ian flynn just took over so idk near the end of the run w archie if she still acted similar so i may be waaaay off). i think this is my favorite version of amy even tho ive always liked her she wasnt my like one of my absolute favorites at all but shes def risen in the ranks thanks to her newer characterization. 

also, like i said, love the background animals. i saw a ton i liked and i may go back in this issue and doodle some to add to the Animal Collection.

the background character designs in this issue already are more varied and its kinda cool, i remember in archie bg characters kinda looked bland n basic and i think that may carry over a little w yardlys work (tho still a very good artist !!!!!!!)

that was issue 1!! it was fun, i didn’t play forces so I feel like i’m still missing a bit even tho the exposition was p good. im hype for the next issue bc i know amy is really well written in this series and she deserves love !! negatives? no knuckles yet. where is he.
