“Find the map of the soul. Then all this can end.” “The map of the soul? What is that?” I pressed for an answer. But all I got were a few words. “I gave you a clue, so you should pay the price for it.” ⟡ Even if they were to tell me now, nothing would change. If you make a fault, there will be consequences. If you lie, you should be ready to pay the price. ⟡ “You need a very strong magical power… Unleash the tribe within you.” The odd-eyed cat continued. “But this will come at a cost. Are you ready for the deal?” “I’ll do it! I’ll do whatever it takes.” The cat’s lips split into a smile as it burst into laughter. At that moment, Eugene clutched at his chest. An excruciating pain shot through his entire body. The pain was incomparable to what he had experienced with the horn in the practice studio. He felt like his entire existence was being thoroughly destroyed and rearranged on a cellular level.

Archive Announcement
It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closure of this blog. The most recent pair of posts, In Darkness and In Light, are my final content for the foreseeable future—a celebration and a farewell. I thought this over a lot in the months I was focusing on work and school. I will always love BU, but for several reasons, making new creations in its honor has been increasingly challenging over the past year and a half, especially as Hybe’s attention has shifted away from visual content to further the storyline. I remember my excitement last year when I awaited the arrival of The Notes 2—and the fear when I finished it that they would be leaving it with such a sense of incompleteness. I have a similar regret that I was unable to bring all of my content ideas to fruition, but I am also proud of this blog’s growth and evolution since it began in October 2019 (months before I even had the software to make gifs). Out of respect for the blog itself and my followers, I don’t want to leave it on hiatus indefinitely. The “archive” label feels most appropriate, as I will keep the content available for as long as tumblr is around.
I don’t know what the future holds. It is possible that I may be moved to create something new at some point, particularly if Hybe does continue the narrative in a medium that can be adequately captured here, but I don’t want to make any promises that I can’t keep. I can say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who supported this blog, sent in questions, and shared your enthusiasm for BU with me and the greater community. Your tags and comments kept me afloat, motivated, and connected far more than I anticipated when I began this as a humble place to house my thematically and symbolically connected screenshots. Thank you for helping this blog and me grow.
This is the closing chapter for my work on this BU blog, but not my presence here. I am active on my side blog, @dreamaze, and my Star Seekers blog, @songofastar, which are also linked in the pinned post. I hope to continue seeing some of you around. Thank you always for your support and continuing to share the story of BU. ♡

First, an explanation for those of you who weren’t around when I originally announced this was coming: I have now started grad school on top of a full-time work schedule, so updates to this blog will be much less frequent and my presence will generally be reduced. This place still brings me some joy, and I want to support my fellow content creators, so I will do my best to keep reblogging content on my side blog, @ourownwings.
Second, I had also originally stated that this blog would be my first priority. Due to shifting circumstances and feelings, I can’t promise this will necessarily be the case for the next few months. I’ve reached a point where I’m ready to share more of that energy with my Star Seekers blog, @songofastar. (For those of you unfamiliar with it, Star Seekers is TXT’s ongoing narrative; it was originally branded +u.) I love BU and I am far from finished with content for this blog. I’m simply in a place where I want to devote more of my time to giving Star Seekers the love and care it deserves, too.
