Perhaps if Angel had been a more talented Witch, she’d of been able to find a way to unlock the door with a reverse charm or something. She hated that her sister wouldn’t even cry in front of her, but knew it was who she was. But surprisingly, even at a young age, whenever Avery would lock her out, Angel sat with her back up against the door and sang. Songs went from random, to ones with meaning as she got older. She walked to the door and first knocked, before singing a line. “Do you wanna build a snowman?”
When she didn’t get a reply with an open door, she took a deep breath. “Avery?” She sat down with her back to the door, and begun to sing, head rested against it. “It’s like a storm, that cuts a path. It breaks your will, it feels like that. You think you’re lost, but you’re not lost on your own.. You’re not alone. I will stand by you. I will help you through. When you’ve done all you can do, and you can’t cope. I will dry your eyes, I will fight your fight. I will hold you tight, and I won’t let go…” She sang loud enough for Avery to hear, knowing her sister would only come out when she was ready. But until then, Angel would sit here and sing, even if it took hours.
By the time Angel had stopped singing, she had sunk down to the floor, leaning against the wall. She flicked her wand at the door, "Alohomora.." The girl always had a way with singing that made her feel better. The lock clicked open, "Angel." Her voice cracked a little as she sang a little herself, "Do you want to build a snowman."
