Vees dinner comic
I just noticed this painting of Vox's other two sharks sitting together in the background of episode 4 (It's a Deal). This is the same episode that features a photo of Vox riding Shock.wav. I feel like Vox convinced Val to paint these two alongside that photo so his other sharks wouldn't be left out. Now, why are they holding glasses? I have no clue. Maybe Vox wanted them to seem refined since they're usually portrayed in media as scary? Idk.
Staticmoth comic after the events of season 2
The only way Val is willing to tolerate Vox's presence after his power trip is if he's being useful. Vox doesn't mind much since it's a nice distraction from his defeat (and he likes having Val by his side).
IM CRYING WHY IS VOX LIKE THIS??
Being a staticmoth fan is so funny because these guys have shared a bed and been partners (in business) for decades, but we still have yet to see them verbally admit that they love each other.
If you pause at the right moment, it looks like they're kissing.
I cannot be the only one who thought this made no sense. Like, seriously, Valentino?? Someone who has been proven to be unpredictable and emotionally unstable?? Velvette was right there!! She has the charm, influence, and wit of a good leader.
Not only that, but she can also communicate with Vox's shark and quickly influence the populations of hell through social media?? She was so robbed.
Since the finale is coming out tomorrow, I want to make some last-minute predictions. I did not come up with most of these; this is just what I think will happen based on the many theories circulating in the community at the moment. This is mainly so I can look back after watching the season 2 finale and realize how far off (or close??) my favorite predictions are.
The Vees break up (pretty much a given)
Alastor uses his deal with Charlie (I think he has to because how else is he supposed to escape??)
Vox ends up abandoned and taken by the hotel as a prisoner? (I feel like this was foreshadowed by his line in ep 3? He would hate it, but he has nowhere else to go so he accepts defeat.)
Oh wow... That was so much different from what I thought it would be. The only things I was right about were Alastor using his deal with Charlie, Sir Pentious and Cherry Bomb getting a proper romantic moment, and Vox getting rescued by the Vees. (short rant about the ending because what was that??)
Looking back at this, I was fully under the impression that Vox would be killed or captured this season, but this ending... It was pretty weak? Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love that the Vees are reluctantly still together, but also... Ehh... You mean to tell me that Vox survives trying to destroy heaven? Sure, he has his head ripped off, but are we seriously supposed to believe that Val and Velv took him back that easily?? Not only that, but DOES NOBODY CARE THAT HE EVEN ATTEMPTED IT?? AND WAS ALMOST SUCCESSFUL??? VOX WAS SUCH A BIG THREAT. SHOULDN'T HE BE TAKEN CARE OF??? This show feels too weak with its punishments, and the fact that the "power of friendship" worked in the end was so baffling. Vox should have been given a punishment far worse than losing his power. Again, I really enjoy Vox's character, and he's still one of my favorites, but story-wise?? It makes no sense to me. I can understand wanting from a writer's perspective to keep the Vees around because they're useful to the story, but it made no sense to let them wander hell freely. Like, Sera should have at least insisted on having angels supervise hell, or something. She was super paranoid during season 1, and now?? I understand that her duet with Sir Pentious was supposed to symbolize a shift in her character. What I don't get is why she's so trusting of Sinners when she was shown that one of them could DESTROY HEAVEN'S SHEILDS!!! Overall, I don't absolutely hate the season two finale, I'm just really conflicted on how the events unfolded. The writers needed so much more time to let the story unfold because it felt so rushed. And that cliffhanger... I really hope they don't make us wait too long for season three.
"Stroke my friend's ego, he needs it!"
Crazy how shocked Vox was to hear such simple words. Probably one of my favorite scenes in this episode. Imagine wanting someone's approval so bad that you're stunned by even a mocking expression of companionship.
Staticmoth drawings before the dreaded season 2 finale!! :D
Sure hope nothing bad happens to them...

I refuse to believe that Vox is purely with Valentino just to use him. Like, look at them!! Vox's eyes didn't leave Valentino once throughout this scene. Until Alastor showed up... (kinda feels like that's how most things go since Al's been the Vees' captive...)
I get that Vox is a master manipulator, but not even he can fake reactions like this.
This guy tries so hard to seem like he has everything under control, but he doesn't even know how to keep his own emotions in check.
I do think this ^ was a real attempt at manipulation. But because he has genuine feelings towards Valentino, it gets all messy, and he ends up embarrassing himself.
And the way Val looks at himm... Ughhh.
Vox. Hun. THIS IS WHY KEEPING YOUR EX AROUND IS NO GOOD. He's about to lose everything.
Hey buddy. So... I'm not sure what you think "omega" means, but you might want to rethink calling yourself one...
Floridians stay winning!
Loving villains is not for the weak of heart
So many vox āfansā switching up bc a villain is a villain
Whatever more vox for me
(Spoilers!!)
WHAT WAS THAT?? I think I'm finally getting Alastor's plan. He knows Vox has a huge ego and wants nothing more than to prove himself as "all-powerful." This man has been bound to a chair for two episodes, and he's already bringing the Vees down from the inside. Like, I know Vox was already a terrible person, but the way Alastor is bringing out his deepest insecurities has just made him sooo much worse. I sorta feel bad for Velvette and Valentino. They have to deal with their friend's ego trip that might get them all killed. I feel like every episode that comes out, we get one step closer to Vox dying.
