What are Cameron and Ari's opinions on being pet. Is it like a social bonding experience? Is it weirder because they're anthropomorphic and not like 'typical' housecats?

They enjoy it, Ari probably likes it more (or at least she'd more readily admit it). I think most cats like it but it's seen as a relatively intimate thing to do, societal norms can have a way of cutting down on casual social grooming 😉
