Even tho I'm not a fan of Wyler being endgame, I do think people who are against it really need to drop the "he's toxic and hurt her loved ones" argument.
Why?
He's being controlled and tortured by others for the most part of the show and Wednesday is not stupid, she can definitely see how he's tormented. The fact that Weems said it is not a coincidence.
Now, Tyler fans need to drop the "he tried to kill her, that's why she loves him" argument as well.
Addams are attracted to kind hearted people, they don't enjoy unfair suffering. Gomez has never tried to kill Morticia. Wednesday is attracted to Tyler because she can see he's not bad at heart, he just can't control what he does.
I'm pretty sure a redemption arc is coming for him and even Enid will be involved so it doesn't seem like Wednesday is forgiving him and forgetting about all he has done, but that's the key, he's not doing it because he wants to, even when Thornhill died, he was just desperately trying to save his mom.
I do think their relationship is very uncomfortable to watch because it felt very forced at first and the chemistry is lacking, also him being a heartless villain would've been poetic, but Hollywood male writers love a good redemption arc.
I also think they're sabotaging Enid real bad because they just hate all the attention Wenclair is getting, but that's just so unfair to Emma. Enid is more than a side character, but she doesn't seem to be affected by the narrative at all, there was no conflict for her til the end of S2 and that really sucks considering she had a lot of issues in S1.
In conclusion, the writing is bad, this show is being watched by the most shallow people ever and I will always hate the writers for going for the cliché love interest instead of the awkward, unattractively weird nerd.
