okay not 2 get 2 personal but I really really really love yue because the idea of her being the moon spirit and therefore being witness to her loved ones mourning her is really such a good metaphor for being ill and the grief & guilt & the burden that comes with seeing the people who love you suffer because of you and not being able to do a damn thing about it. there is something incredibly acute + poignant about yue’s trauma 2 me and I know that it’s never actually addressed but yknow........ I can extrapolate.......
