A portion of a letter I recieved from Karissa Sutton of Camp Rainbow Gold. "It's a truly amazing experience for the kids as well as the counselors. It's a summer camp for kids that have/have had cancer. We have four camps, one the whole immediate family get to go to, one that the kid with cancer and their siblings get to go to, and two camps specifically for just the kids that have/have had cancer. It's an opportunity for them to spend a week being normal and be loved and accepted by everyone around them." If you asked me a year ago if I would have ever imagined that there were women with families just like mine who would become my sisters and all their kids my nieces and nephews to love, support, encourage and just unconditionally accept one another without any strange stares or getting bent out of shape for not being able to make an event on time or in some cases at all I would not have believed it and I can't imagine life without my Boise Autism Mom family. The potluck was wonderful. Love Ali
