Pretty sure no one is really even paying attention to this blog anymore but I think this is gonna be an official notice: this blog is fully inactive. I’ve lost most of my partners to either finding better Peter's, just not liking my Peter specifically anymore, or inactivity on one of our parts. I really just have no motivation to try and integrate back into Tumblr rp anymore or dealing with the search for new writing partners and trying to figure out how to fit my Peter in with other marvel characters when mine is completely outside the MCU

apologies to the few writing partners I still had, but I'm pretty sure there was only one of you left at this point and I know you have better, more regular people to write with.

if anyone still wants to be friends ooc, feel free to ask for my discord, I am occasionally down to rp there and even if not, I do really want to keep the friendships ive made through writing if my partners are also interested

he’s calm. Relieved even. He can sense it off the other boy. Fingers weaving gently into his hair, kneading and scratching tired muscles along the way. Before fingers splayed and just held him against him for a moment longer. Smiling as he turned his head and looked at him. 

    “ Perfect then. “ He murmured, before picking him up then and carrying him to bed with him. “ No distractions.”

The firm yet gentle hands over his back have him practically melting into the other’s arms, some of the ever present tension he carries seeping out of him at being in his boyfriend’s presence. If there’s one thing Peter is thankful for about more and more heroes popping up around New York, it’s that he gets to take more nights off to do things like this. 

    “Perfect?” One of Peter’s brows quirks before he’s suddenly lifted off the ground, scrambling in surprise a moment before smirking and wrapping legs firmly around Isaac’s waist. “And what is it you don’t want us getting distracted from, hm?” He leans forward to nip at a sharp jawline as he says it.

   “I was thinking…” Grant started up as he glanced up from the book he hadn’t really been reading; easy to tell when his average of a dozen pages in a few minutes was falling vastly short. Something was clearly on his mind and he licked his lips with the effort to voice it, “ —now that I’m basically off field work, I could, maybe… be your inside man for, uh— Spidey-Ops… Things would probably go a lot more smoothly tackling the newest New York gun smuggling ring, if you had a man on the inside, don’t you think? Lot easier to get the info you’d need…” he reasoned, looking away from Peter and back to the pages he’d been staring at in thought.

    There was something on Grant’s mind. Peter knew there was something on his mind because the man had been staring at the same two pages of his book for the last five minutes. Peter knew the book, it was Grant’s go to for a re-read and he usually blew through it on any other day. He waited, though, until Grant finally decided to speak about what was on his mind. There’s a quiet hum from Peter, lips pursed while considering. “I wouldn’t be against it...” he started slowly, shifting on the couch to better see the man carefully not meeting his eyes, foot moving until it was pressed soothingly to his lover’s hip. “But I thought the point of getting off field work was to keep you out of harms way as much after some of your closer calls. Wouldn’t helping me put you right back in the same position?”

    “Yeayea, sorry for my little disappearing act. Wasn’t totally planned otherwise I’d’ve given you a headsup.” He chuckles. “I’m alright, though. Staying out of trouble as much as a friendly neighborhood spider can.”

*sneaks up behind Isaac and wraps arms around his middle*

“ hey pete. “ He whispered, turning his head to get a good look of him. Smiling as he pressed a kiss to his temple and just relaxed. He loved the feel of those arms around him. He loved knowing he was just right there. Breathing and all in one piece. 

Eventually he turns around. His own arms sliding around hist waist and lips brushing over his forehead. “ Can I interest you in a sleep over?”

Peter hides his face against Isaac’s shoulder, just enjoying the feel of them pressed together and the others scent. The kiss to his temple makes him smile against the other’s shirt, arms tightening minutely as he lifts his head enough to look at his boyfriend. He was more than happy to just stay there, wrapped around the man he loved.  “Hmmm...” Peter’s smile widens at the question once Isaac has turned to face him, arms shifting from a slim waist to firm shoulders. “I think you can definitely interest me in it. I even have spare clothes in my backpack.” Though, that was a regular part of his life due to his Spider-Man duties.

NO, IT ISN’T. And she appreciates that Peter doesn’t try to goad the emotion from her with the intent to prove anyone wrong. Her shoulders are far more relaxed here, jaw less set, and she sways with the nudge with ease. “Mmm, gotta hand it to you…. you ain’t wrong. This is pretty damn good.” Holding the sandwich in question for emphasis, she uses her pinky to wipe the mayo off the corner of her mouth. “I’ll listen to your suggestions more often. Reckon you’ve got a treasure trove in that noggin of yours.”

They’ve been friends long enough, both in and out of work, that he knows how to tell when she’s truly comfortable like she is now. When he’s in the suit, and they cross paths due to SHIELD occasionally getting involved in whatever he’s dealing with, she’s always strung tight, tension in the straightness of her shoulders and the pinch of her brow. It’s different at times like this, when they’re just friends hanging out on the rooftop of her apartment eating food Peter picked up from whatever part of the city he was in. “I don’t know about a treasure trove, but you should definitely listen to my suggestions,” he laughs, just a bit of sass before he’s running a hand over said noggin and through his hair as he looks out over the city. “Helps that since I can travel quickly without dealing with the subway I can grab food from pretty much anywhere without it taking ages.”
