Guys…this is just the sarcastic prelude to a trope. It’s not real. The person writing this doesn’t actually think this way. It’s just an observation made in media that the Israeli character will most likely be badass.

thoughts on the evillious chronicles?
oh i'm not super into the vocaloid lore stuff but i really like the songs!! but i think the narrative of "ohhh she was possessed by a DEMON" is cheap and not my personal taste in story. i think a narrative like that is much more effective when a 14 year old girl is tyrannical and childish because... she's a 14 year old girl with way too much power. but i know the whole ~overarching narrative~ is demon stuff or whatever. just not really my taste. but i really like the songs and the better version of the narrative that exists only in my head because of the songs!!!
I respect this opinion but to give some more context to how the demons work, the demons don’t turn a person evil, they just prey and fuel themselves on a person’s already bad habits.
Riliane was in full control of her actions (in fact since she doesn’t have any powers and didn’t need to be formally exercised I’m gonna say she wasn’t even affected by it). And the same goes for all the others.
I recommend people to get into EC but if you aren’t a fan of the demons then you can just watch the songs, as it’s the novels that mostly elaborate on it. Though if you really like world building and extensive intertwining stories then check out the novels, either starting with Venomania or the Daughter of Evil series.
Meguca PSA: Memoria Edition
Magical girls get bored using the same toy memoria over and over again. Make sure to change it up for more mental enrichment in their life!
Do you normally equip Blast Damage Up on your Yachiyo? Try an MP Gain Up memoria instead! Watch your meguca look at it with confusion and try to make sense of it. This engages their mind and makes them overall happier, healthier, megucas.
But don’t give your Ashley’s Charge Up’s. They will become too confused and begin to indiscriminately blast everything in their path
The Umineko Stage Play on YT got taken down before I downloaded it and my credit card isn’t working to but a ticket for some reason. Pain
and ironically, i think now’s a good time to pause. sadly we haven’t gotten to any crazy murder schemes yet, but i think we learned some important information, and we really seem to be getting there. and i, for one, cannot wait to pull out the steve harvey ‘YES!! KILL!’ meme when we do.
it feels like a lot of this part of the game was dedicated to character development which i did enjoy a lot. especially natsuhi, i enjoyed seeing more about what she’s got going on. absolutely fuck krauss still.
Really excited to see you liveblog this. Also yeah, Umineko is a character study masquerading as a mystery. The exposition dump can get tiring, but it helps put a lot of things in context later on.
Love how natsuhi's "magic" is essentially: if we pretend that he's still alive it's like he's never died in tge first place so it's basically the same as resurrection"

Clearly if the anime is going to change this much and call itself an “accurate adaptation” then I can just go completely off the rails with my Demon!Norman AU and do whatever I want with it…
The anime’s about as accurate as Helen Keller playing darts

Hey, whatever you do, don't think about how Whitley saying all the staff has left and Willow's hidden in her room means he's been completely alone all night, and the fact that he knows his sister and friends are fugitives means he's likely been watching the news and knows that things are going to hell, and the fact that he's even up at what appears to be a very early morning hour implies he hasn't slept all night - don't think about all of that.
And don't think about how after he agrees to let them stay and asks what Weiss wants him to do... she sends him to his room. To be out of the way. Alone. Again.
I'll try and get an episode review for this one soon, since I have things to say, but I have family visiting, so we'll see how that goes.
Also don’t think about how Whitley asking what he could do was a subtle way of him wanting to stay around his sister and her friends, cause even though he hates her, he hates being alone more.
Mai: Hahaha. I’ve killed you so I can live
Q-taro:
I’m thinking the policeman was Joe’s dad. He looks kinda like him and he said he was having a kid. Also Joe didn’t trust Keiji until he said he was a policeman, then he deemed him reliable and started to follow him around.
He was also the first one who picked up that Keiji might not be a policeman. Since Joe’s dad was a policeman he might have picked up that Keiji was kicked from the force or something.
Sooooooo.....It really hurts but I’m thinking the Asunaro spy is Gin. 1)We’ve never seen his collar and 2) He was the only one not listed when Sara was thinking about possible spies.
I really don’t want this to be true. He’s my fav but if it is I’m going to praise Nankidai (depending on how well it’s done)
"i really hope megumi did something very corrupt as a police officer, because damn it was pretty cruel having her die like that while keiji just watched when he could've easily saved her."
She was paying off people and making deals so Keiji wouldn’t be taken off the force. At first that might seem like a good thing, but this means that if any cop under her jurisdiction kills someone, weapon or no, she’ll simply have it swept under the rug. Not to mention what she’s doing is very illegal and an obstruction of justice.
I wouldn’t say she deserved to die, but I understand Keiji reservations on helping her. She was a corrupt officer who forced Keiji into owing a debt for her.
Gotta love that during the first half of the Third Period, Elluka didn’t even know Irina was still alive while Irina had a massive hate boner for her
"I’m really curious how the game is going to end now, considering the fact that you can have four different paths based on who lives and dies in chapter 2. I wonder if it will be drastically different like good, bad, neutral endings. Or if it will just be the same ending but with different people standing in the background?"
I’m expecting it to go like this
Kanna Lives Endings:
Best Ending:No one else dies. You all escape and go to therapy or something. Congrats.
Good Ending:One person sacrifices themselves for the group. Possibly either Keiji or Sara
Bad End:Either everyone dies or Sara is the only survivor and gets placed in a mental hospital cause she’s constantly haunted by her hallucinations
Sou Lives Endings:
Best Ending:You tell Sou to cut the shit or trick him which lets everyone but you and him escape. Sara remembers Joe and Sou apologizes for what he did.
Good Ending:Some people die, probably Keiji, Reko/Alice, or Gin. Sara and Sou escape but never see each other again. Both are implied to have committed suicide a few years later
Bad Ending:Everyone dies. Sou pulls a Kokichi and takes over the game but instead of it being a good thing it’s horrible. Sara lives but is horribly tortured for the rest of her life
