he fell in love with the screen. he felt now that he viewed reality through the blur of static. through the giddy smiles of someone he felt he connected with. someone who wasn’t real. someone who he could pretend to be.

so why not use his newfound power..

and create the man he wanted to be for others to see?

a sliver of his mind and a screen was all he needed. and it was a success. the host was wonderful. people complimented how accurate he was to his source. but people wanted more. so he made more. the barkeep. the theorist. the gamblers. the guards. the musicans. the angel. all with their own views and consciousness.

people fell into place. the viewers.

and he was happy.

but then, the barkeep, who had received a reasonable part of his mind, began to question his existence. viewers voices flooding in. implying the world he knew wasn’t real. the existence of a higher being.
