Roads that sap energy from passing cars don’t work in the real world. At the very least, they’re expensive as hell to build and maintain. None of that stopped Volvo from trolling other cars driving on one with an XC90, however.
Watching Volvo troll other automakers is strangely satisfying, though I still have trouble trusting a brand whose name means “I Roll”.
CNN aired its third incredibly, mind-bendingly gentle “Town Hall” Wednesday night. This time it featured Ted Cruz, Creature from the Black Lagoon and GOP presidential candidate, whose long-suffering wife and young daughters (in matching outfits and hair bows) were on hand to distract viewers from Daddy’s medieval views on science, religion, war, guns, civil rights, and most of all, women—who, as you can see, Ted loves, because he married one and made two more. All three have been working overtime to make him seem less awful, with mixed results.
This looks utterly terrifying on so many levels. I don’t think I can watch this. Isn’t there a word in German for being embarrassed for other people-- especially people far away, on the tv machine? Ugh.

The setting is in a flower shaped design, 18 carat gold with a platinum setting. The setting measures 5.4mm x 10.6mm and is set with a central diamond approximately 1.6mm, the diamonds on each side are a tiny 1mm. Some of the platinum on the face of the ring has worn off leaving more of a soft gold colouring. The band is approx. 2mm at center back, very slight misshaping around the back.
