Apothecary diaries AU with consort Maomao.

Lakan returns but after Fengxian just got sick he buys her and is super protective of her and baby Maomao he takes over clan and also reinstates Luomen as a clan member despite all protests because he is caring for Fenxian.

The emperor hearing about Luomen being back and occasionally stopping by and asking about his medical advice on something in the rear palace only it's Maomao who answers (He and Lahan are of course listening in)

This leads to emperor suggesting Maomao enter rear palace Lakan of course protests but come up with idea Maomao enters as high ranking consort only not assigned to anyone so she's just there and no one can approach her. She'll be able to go where she pleases and have authority so she can be respected with decisions.

Lakan still to happy and wants to make sure she doesn't go in alone so to make sure she has people she can trust with her he gets Meimei, Pairin and Joka to go with her as ladies in waiting. Madame isn't happy about 3 getting bought out but also wants to make sure Maomao is safe (Plus she knows those 3 can show up all the others in there and they've promised to send customers her way)

Maomao of course being adored by the other constorts and after sher and the 3 princesses see Lishu being bullied she is nbasially adopted.

I love Mao Mao and and all the other characters, they are all iconic in there own way

So I haven't gotten a hold of the manga yet, but I do know that Pairin was Maomao's wet nurse and Maomao, to some degree, sees Pairin more as a maternal figure even if she only calls her big sister with the other princesses. A part of me loves that dynamic and wished it was explored more but another part of me also wishes that it's acknowledged more for shenanigans.

I just kinda want a scene where Jinshi is introduced/reintroduced to the three princesses of Verdigris House as Maomao's fiancé or a potential suitor and three princesses are just inspecting him.

Pairin, who wants to make sure her baby Maomao is getting pleasure in the bedroom, is inspecting Jinshi like Maomao inspected Lihaku. She's not too impressed by his muscles, but his frog will definitely make up for it.

She'll be teaching Jinshi all the ways to pleasure Maomao from what she has received and given others.
