She drank the rest of her coffee and placed her cup on the table.] Look, this is your personal life and really they have no right in taken pictures and making people think negative things about you. [Skylar wasn’t stupid, this whole thing was going to be between her and Nico. And she doubted that anyone would believe her anyway if she said she’d sat in a Starmiebucks with the Nico Avery.] Why do you want it to lapse? And do you think it will?

I'm more impressed that you've managed to avoid seeing any of that kind of stuff. [Nico smirked and stared down at the small amount of coffee left in her cup. It was nice just to be able to sit there and not worry for once. Skylar seemed to have no clue of anything to do with her life.] It will lapse if I don't renew it. That's what happens. Contracts just come to an end. Maybe it's time I go and do something else with my life.

[Skylar nodded a little and smiled.] It is nice, but lonely. [She leant back in her chair as she gazed at Nico, observing her. Her smiled seemed to have faded now and she looked unhappy, almost upset. Skylar was going to ask what was wrong but she didn’t want to push any boundaries.] I don’t pay attention to any tabloids or pictures like that. It’s your business, not mine or anyone else’s. It’s a shame some people don’t understand that.

[Nico raised a perfectly sculpted brow at Skylar's comment and cocked her head to the side.] Yeah, it's a shame but what are you going to do. Anyways, since you haven't seen the news, I'm basically the idiot that gets photographed leaving a different club with a different girl every other day.  I don't do responsible, but I do at least have a work ethic. [Nico paused and wondered why she was even telling Skylar any of this. It had been so long since anyone had actually wanted to hear what she had to say though and something about her demeanour told her that Skylar wasn't about to go and blab this information to anyone.] My contract for Good Morning Kalos is up for renewal though and I sort of want to let it lapse.

[The way Skylar spoke about her training wasn't lost on Nico. It was how she'd once felt about it - until her father had disappeared and then reappeared in her life. Before she'd joined Team Flare and before her life had been completely taken over by her sudden fame. She'd always had problems with living in the spotlight but since becoming famous in her own right and not just for being her mother's daughter, it had only gotten worse. Her smile tightened and slipped from her face.] Must be nice. Can't say it sounds like a life that would agree with me though. I said I wasn't an irresponsible trainer. I'm still not particularly responsible as a non-trainer either. Or have you not seen the pictures of me stumbling out of various clubs at 4 in the morning.

[Nico shook her head, amused that Skylar could think that anything was that easy. If only she knew what was keeping Nico in town.]  That's easy for you to say. You're what? A travelling trainer or something? Your job takes you everywhere. I film here. I have other commitments here. It's not that easy for me to just leave. I'm not the irresponsible trainer I once was.

She loved the sound of the other girl’s laugh and was glad that she seemed to be enjoying their time together.] A film huh? Well I guess it is up to you. I guess we'll see. My agent is pushing me to do it but I don't know...it's just not my kind of thing. [Her mind went over the conversation she'd had with her mother previously, where the woman had complained about Nico's lack of interest in training and that her prancing in front of cameras couldn't last forever.] I honestly just want to take a break but I have too much stuff keeping me in the city.

Unless my chair collapses and I bring the table down with me as I go. [She drank some of her coffee and then placed her cup back down on the table.] So… this meeting? I wouldn't put it past you to make that happen somehow. [Nico laughed but unlike the other times, this one didn't sound forced. She was actually allowing herself to relax for once. Pausing for a moment to think about how much she was allowed to say, Nico considered saying no comment before deciding she was going to say whatever she wanted to say, Nigel be damned.] A movie role actually. I'm not sure if I want to take it though. I kind of like my schedule the way it is now, and I'd have to leave the show and deprive all my greatest fans.

[Nico shrugged and placed her coffee back down on the table. Her hand involuntarily reached down to her belt where here Pokeballs were. Only three of them actually had Pokemon in them. Ciel was off flying again and she gave it about an hour until she came back to look for her] I don't know but I'm far too tired to fight it. So instead let's just have coffee and try not to kill each other. I know that might be hard for you, seeing how you like trying to knock me over, but we can at least try.

I'm not doing this for you. I'm doing this because my meeting isn't for another three hours so I have time to kill. Clearly the universe wants us to run into each other, so why fight it? [She picked up her coffee and sipped it before smiling at Skylar.]

I said I was sorry. [Skylar replied as she rolled her eyes and threw the empty up in her hand into the bin. Stupid hot girl. She dusted her hands off on her jeans and picked up her dropped bag. She smirked at Nico and nodded her head.] Understood, I’ll be right back. [She ran up to the counter and ordered herself a normal coffee and the other girl her macchiato and then carefully navigated her way back over.] Would you like to sit with me? [She asked nervously and smiled.] Some company would be nice.

Let's hope it's the last time you have to say sorry to me. [ Nico quipped, more amused than annoyed at this point. Skylar was definitely one of the more interesting people she'd encountered recently and not just because the girl had a tendency to literally bump into her. Watching the girl walk off to get her coffee, Nico couldn't help but subtly eye up her ass. It also helped that she was smoking hot and she didn't seem to realise just how attractive she was. When she came back, Nico took the coffee and glanced between the door and Skylar.] Thanks...I uhm...I actually have a meeting but...[She took one last glance at the door and shrugged.] But it's not till later so why not. [Seeing a free table, she slid into a seat and looked up at Skylar] Is here okay?

If only the girl could keep her mouth shut for a minute, then they could just go back to Nico's apartment and find a better use for that pretty little mouth of hers.] Seriously, Alvares? Again? Ugh. [Just when she'd been having such a good day too. Why did things like this always happen when she had some time off? It was like the universe was punishing her for having a life outside of work. She stood there for a moment before sighing. Might as well let her get her another cup of joe.] Fine. Grande Soy Caramel Macchiato with an extra shot of espresso, and no comments about my order.

[Skylar walked down the streets of Lumiose trying to decide what she wanted to do next with her day. It had been such a lovely morning and she wasn’t going to waste it. She stopped outside of a nice looking coffee shop by the name of Starmiebucks and thought to herself, why not have a drink and a sit down. As she opened the door to the shop and began to step through, she thought she heard someone call her name. Stopping half in the doorway, she turned around to see who had called her. After seeing that no one had approached her or stopped themselves to say hello she shook her head and carried on walking inside. Suddenly she bumped into something hard and snapped back to reality.] Oh my god. [She said as she looked around and noticed that she had walked into someone again] Oh I’m so sorry.

[Barely out the door, Nico felt somebody walk straight into the side of her, causing her to stumble and drop her coffee on the ground. Groaning and ready to bite the head off the clumsy idiot that had just managed to ruin her day by not looking where they were going, Nico rolled her eyes kicked the now empty coffee cup by her foot.] God, why don't you look where you're going? [Catching sight of who it was, Nico crossed her arms and rolled her eyes a second time.] You've got to be kidding me? Twice in a row? Are you stalking me?

[Standing at the front of the queue in Starmiebucks, Nico gave the barista a wink as she ordered her usual - Soy Caramel Macchiato with an extra shot of espresso. She'd just finished taping for her next show and while she longed to go home and just sleep for the rest of the day, she had a meeting with her agent later on in the day and it was very possible that if she slept now, she wouldn't be getting up until the next day. Nigel would hate her for that and probably bite her head off and Nico just wasn't in the mood for that. Moving to the collection point, she grinned at the second barista who handed Nico her coffee, but not before laughing nervously and asking for her autograph.] Sure, who do I make it out to? [She said, putting on her usual charm. The barista was cute and a definite candidate for someone who could warm her bed if she ever got bored. Taking the coffee, Nico turned around and headed out of the front door]
