Please enjoy a short Sebastian x farmer one-shot I wrote
I sat at The Stardrop Saloon tired after a long day spent in the mines. My fingers were still chill kissed from the snowy Winter 10 air. Sam sits down across from me silently offering me a pool stick. Nodding I slug back my remaining beer. The balls clack on the table as Sam lines them up preparing for a game.
"I was hoping Sebastian would stop by," He says.
I rolled my eyes slightly at Sebastian's previous immaturity. "He said he was going for a walk, he needed time by himself."
"Are you serious?" Sam asked seeming more surprised than I originally had anticipated.
"Yeah but he said he'd see me later tonight."
"I don't know why he does that." Frustration littered all over his face.
I shrugged trying my best to seem unbothered. "It's just how he is."
My response took him back a moment. Sam studied my face carefully before crafting a reply. "Do you not remember what today is?" I looked at him puzzled. What on Earth could he be referring to? "Winter 10 ringing any bells Stupid?!"
It hit me like a slap in the face! "Oh my god! His Birthday! But he said he wanted to be alone?!"
"Did he tell you where he went?" Sam asked.
"He said he'd be at the docks."
"And you thought he'd tell you where he was going if he wanted to be alone?"
Before he was finished speaking I threw change at the pool table; more than enough to cover my tab. I ran out the door snow assaulting my face as I sped towards the beach. His silhouette peered at me from the edge of the dock shifting towards the sound of my hasty footsteps in the snow. As I reached the wooden planks I noticed a tear streaming from his face. I was riddled with guilt but I smiled remembering the gift I had gotten him was still in the pocket of the coat I was wearing.
"What are you doing here?" He asked.
"No one should be alone on their birthday." I said still catching my breath.
"You didn't have to come." he said as he assessed my icy frame. "It's freezing out here, you'll catch a cold."
He took off the knitted grey and black scarf from around his neck placing it on my shoulders. The warm musky smell of cigarettes and homemade soup engulfed me as he did so. I gently wiped the single tear from his cheek. My hand slipped into my pocked to retrieve the object resting there. I placed a frozen tear into Sebastian's open palm. He shot me a gleeful smile and kissed the top of my head.
"Thank you." He whispered just loud enough to be heard over the waves softly crashing on the snow covered shore.
We sat on the edge of the dock and watched the snow over the ocean until we were met with the sunrise of Winter 11.

Also just have to say I LOVED doing this one, the smirks, the flirtatiousness, the leeaannnn!! Which is probably why it took me forever😅 But by god I absolutely LOVE doing illustrations for fanfics so I think it's worth it!
