Things the Tangled fandom doesn’t talk about enough:

• Edmund is literally so cool??

• Adira is the funniest of the brotherhood and she always clocks everyone’s tea

• Lance being the most sane out of the main cast is so funny and sad at the same time. WDYM a literal retired thief is more okay than the literal Princess who embodies the sun and all things bright and lovely!? That girl has more trauma than half of the kingdom that fought a demon. Eugene got killed once and daddy issues (Lance seems to be okay with his past more than Eugene). Cass is…Cass. Varian (though not technically main cast until s3) is a literal mad scientist ex terrorist???

Bro forget fear of spiders, I’d have a fear of your friends.

• How much Arianna has been through. Girl needs a breaakkkk

• Frederic’s egg collection. Say what you want about his ruling as king but bro is kinda funny as hell for that.

• To piggy back in the last one, Frederic being either the dumbest person in the room (“In Like Flynn”) or the absolute most strategic monarch??

• VARIAN LITERALLY BEING A MAD SCIENTIST?? BRO IS CRAZY AND WE ALL MOVE ON FROM THAT BECAUSE WE LOVE HIM?? NO LIKE BRO WAS CRAZY IN HIS VILLAIN ARC AND EVEN BEFORE/AFTER JUST NORMALLYYY 😳😳

Also, for fic writers… Rapunzel’s birthday is either in May or June (I hc it’s May 12th) “just feel that summer breeze the way it’s calling me”. Please pay attention to months lol.

Tangled: The Series hot takes for you:

• Rapunzel needs more credit, which is crazy because it’s her own show. As much as we adore the new characters, it was changed to “Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure” for a reason. She needs more love in the TTS fandom tbh.

• No, they didn’t “ruin” Eugene’s character. I fear his arc finished (though not completely but the main part did) in the OG movie. He has always been loving and supportive. They never sidelined him in the series, in fact quite the opposite. He gets a great amount of development and screen time!!

• Cassandra apparently gets hate in the fandom from what I just learned?? Look, she as a person is not perfect— but literally neither are the ENTIRE cast of characters in this show (most of whom are literal criminals). She isn’t perfect and that is what’s so appealing in my opinion. She’s real. I’ve met so many people like Cass, who struggle like her, who act like her, her grieve like her. Say what you want about her villain arc, but overall she’s NOT a bad character.

• the whole “Varian did no wrong” and “Rapunzel was awful to him” debate is dumb and pointless at this point. They both are like canonically besties at this point, they’ve moved on… why can’t you?

• Lance needs more love and isn’t talked about enough. Same with Kiera and Catalina. Lock in guys.

• I like Eugene being the Dark Prince, sue me.

• Frederic wasn’t 100% awful. There. I said it. Misguided? Absolutely. Awful? Bro he just wanted his daughter safe (at the expense of the kingdom sure but with that logic we can’t defend Varian either)

• THIS. IS. A. KIDS. SHOW. I’m sorry that you don’t like the filler episodes, I don’t care. It’s a kids show. It’s adorable and fun. Let us have whimsy please. Also stop trying to make it so adult. It’s literally a Disney Princess show. Deal with the pg rating people.

• Arianna dare I say is one of the coolest characters.

• Quirin was not a bad dad and never was. I stand on this statement.

• Aging up characters to fit your ships is weird. Varian X Cass? Weird. You’re gross for that. Screw “well back then they would’ve—“ nope. By today’s standards we are not doing that, why are you trying to justify something like that?
