Tangled The Series Headcanon:
Kiera eventually joins the royal guard, taking a similar position to the one Eugene held before he became Captain. Somewhere down the line though, she either becomes Captain of the guard, or Rapunzel's lady-in-waiting (because even queens need those!) or just plain body guard for King Eugene and Queen Rapunzel and their kids.

Rewatched Cassandra’s Revenge, as you do, and I want to talk about Lance. Sure, he’s being a bit of an idiot getting everyone lost in the tower and CLEARLY the girls are getting sick of it but I honestly don’t think he’s as lost as he comes across.
I mean, think about one scene in particular - Max is trying his hardest to go up a certain flight of steps while Lance is pulling him back saying “You have to go down to go up” and “I don’t care what you smell.” A) Kinda bad logic, but it is Lance and b) Max has been proven to have a good nose. I would put money on that being the correct way but I’d also put money on Lance knowing it’s the right way.
Because immediately after that, Angry says “We’re missing all the action.”
Angry and Catalina are pre-teen little girls, and Lance has seen Cass in the state she’s in. He saw her kidnap Varian, who isn’t that much older than Angry and Catalina. He’s protecting them by keeping them out of danger.
I honestly wondered why Angry and Catalina came along (aside from, y’know, appealing to the younger audience or whatever). Yes, they needed to be in position so Lance could catch Varian, but I think it’s more than that. Because they were at the ‘debriefing’ meeting so they knew where the team was going. And knowing Angry and Catalina, they’re very likely to just follow.
I think Lance knows this. He knows that if they’re not invited or told to stay behind they’ll just do what they want and follow which could very easily lead to one or both of them being hurt. So he invites them along and sticks with them to keep an eye on them and protect them (possibly why he got Max to come with them as well, so Max could help keep an eye on them). But he knows that if he outright tells them they’re not going anywhere near the action they’ll rebel - so he plays up his ignorance and leads them on a wild goose chase.
Anyway, long story short, Lance is the best dad in this entire series and I will not be taking criticism.
The last episode of this amazing show airs today, and it's so bittersweet to have to say goodbye after all of this.
I love this show, the characters, the story and the friends I've made in the fandom so much and I'm so glad I got to watch this show as it aired. I'm gonna miss it a lot, and I knew for certain I'd have to make a picture to say "goodbye" because this show has just been so good.
