Fact is, most people writing for aang now just do it bc he has more obvious muscles. They don't really give a damn about his culture or his personality.

Do I think he can be a bit pervy? Yeah, he's still human

Do I think he'd be aggressive or alpha during intimacy? No, he wouldn't be. He's gentle and very respectful. That's his nature. If his partner would want to try something more "mean" in bed, he'd definitely talk to them about why they want that and about how he feels about it.

He's the cutest and most respectful man in my opinion. Anyone who thinks he "matured" into suddenly being super sadistic and possessive is weird

I hate when people act like Pesci was some soft idiot— and I especially hate it when people ignore his development Post!Prosciutto’s death, He was cowardly and had poor intuition but he wasn’t some soft-shy boy. I honestly didn’t think that he was completely hopeless, he didn’t need Prosciutto around 24/7 in my opinion. He did better without him.

when I see a Jervis Tetch fic that makes his backstory “oh no he just did one little crime but then got screwed over by Alice and got tortured by Arkham into going insane and he never did anything wrong” so I genuinely just leave

I don’t only like Jervis because he does batshit insane horrible stuff, but like…I feel as though it’s important to not erase all of that stuff?

Like I understand removing the pedo part of his character. I do that a lot because I think it’s just a strange thing to add and he becomes a better character without it imo. I don’t understand just removing all of the bad parts of a character just so you can feel justified in liking them.

And then they blame Alice for his fall? No. WTF. I didn’t read further into the fic after learning that, so I don’t know exactly what she did, but there’s no way it could be good.

So, no, Jervis Tetch is not a little guy who never did anything wrong. I’m not saying you HAVE to talk about his extensive crimes and history every time you draw him or something, but if you’re writing a whole fic about how he never did anything wrong…uh…that’s rough.

i just seriously don't understand why the winx fandom calls Riven a toxic man. Or when comments says " i started liking toxic men because of him" or " i blame riven for my taste in men".

uhmm.. so you mean that just because Riven had actual personality - not like some boys in the series - and wasn't totally a morally good or bad character you mean he is toxic.

He is a teenager. Winx Club is a show about teenagers. And we are still talking about who is toxic and who isn't when these are characters with messy emotions, and situations. Minus the lack of effort they got during the show. Saying that he is toxic and just brushing it off like this is straight ignorance. He had potential, he portrayed the perfect angry, angsty teenage boy, who is just trying to find his path.
