I think it’s bittersweet that this is the last scene animated by SAMG studio. 

I will really miss this quality of animation from them.

Appreciation post for Felix being a really interesting character who, despite being the “calm collected cool and confident” trope, shows a lot of signs of strong emotion that really humanize him and remind us that he’s still just a child caught up on all this bs like all the others

Him being legitimately terrified/traumatized: 

Easily startled/on edge all day:

His hesitance at accepting a miraculous (after Ladybug asks “can I trust you?”):

Very real excitement at seeing a kwami:

His sadness at seeing the sentimonsters get thrown into the sun:

I don’t know, moments like these just give Felix so much depth imo, he’s so interesting.

I still consider Felix to be morally grey character which is always much more interesting than normal villain. He fits this category perfectly.

Ladybug: *is clearly in distress, having a mental breakdown, has too much weight on her shoulders and could definetely use a mentor figure*

Su Han and Bunnix:

Bunnix, not so much. 

But Su Han? That’s the one of few things I’m really mad at screenwriters for. Where he was this whole season? I can’t that he decided to stick to shadows and watch from the distance instead of mentoring Ladybug to not allow such mess to happen.

-when mari goes home to find the empty miraculous box in her room

-imagine her unconsciously trying to get a miraculous from her yoyo only to get reminded by the emptiness

-her room no longer chaotic with kwamis, no more little outfits to sew for all of them or them helping her with her fashion stuff

-getting snacks for everyone but no one to eat them except tikki

-ladybug sadly telling chat about her life with the kwamis and saying “i wish you could meet them, you’ll get along well with them”

now im just in the feels again 🥺😭

I noticed some comments on my previous post about felix's little tail

OH MY GOD. 

I remember on first promo materials that his tail was invisible and everyone wondered where it was. So I had “AWWWW” reaction during watching the episode when he turned and there was cute tiny tail TT_TT

Interesting; while the colors obvi stay the same, do you guys think the “breed” of dog changes for each dog miraculous holder?

I think that it will always be in colors of kwami Barkk, with slight defferences in color details. Although their ears indicate that they might be based on different breeds.

I think this scene really speaks testaments

Paris is known for going out on the streets when the going gets tough. Both in remembrance, commemoration and mutual mural. This is how they’ve expressed themselves.

The scene is a perfect way to show children, and anyone outside of France, the importance of when their people stand together. Since they do it when most dire. Paris may be known for riots and their fights, but they’re also known for their resistance, and their ability to stick as one united force if the time calls for it.

This is the most civilians we’ve seen unite in Paris so far, more then even heroes day, and the crowd goes out further then the shot shows. They’re remaining defiant even in the face of their worst threat yet, and that really is the best show of humanity we’ve seen so far.

I just think it’s neat, ya’ll, what can I say

That was so beautiful that Paris citizens finally gathered to show appreciation for Ladybug (although sad that not for Chat Noir).

I’ve never seen so much emotion on marinettes face and its terrifying.

The breathing? The blush from crying?? The sheer and utter panic? all of it. its such a perfect scene that we NEEDED.

What’s terryfying for me is that very few people noticed throughout this whole season how bad Marinette had it. Most comments and reviews only mentioned Chat’s hard situation. And this scene above was the epitome of all difficult times in the role of new guardian. 

I can’t with people saying she “deserved it”. Are you guys forgetting we are talking about 14 years old girl here? A girl who had too much on her plate and was thrown in a much bigger responsibility than she could handle? And worst of all, she can’t get out from because then she will forget everything? And that she doesn’t have a mentor figure next to her any longer to guide her and release some of her stress? How can you judge her in a situation like this? Mistakes were bound to happen because she’s not perfect. I really doubt anyone else in her shoes would do much better job. I find all those negative comments about her this season disgusting. Just because she keeps Chat out of loop and treats him harshly sometimes (although in my opinion, he was at fault himself many times), she does not deserve that much hate she gets this season. No wonder I stopped participating in fandom activities.
