ok but imagine this. trinity buys that shirt for whitaker and he just throws it in his drawers and one day when he’s running late to work and he’s getting dressed in the dark. he just reaches in and grabs a random undershirt and throws his scrubs on before bolting out the door. he’s 15 mins late to work and gets a good natured chiding from robby, but goes on with his day.

when his shift is almost over and they’re doing handovers, a patient sneezes blood on him so he strips off his scrub top, not realizing that he was wearing this fuckass shirt under it. dennis is too busy getting roasted for his wardrobe by ellis and javadi to notice jack and robby exchanging smirks, a look of agreement in both their eyes.
