“So we are going out tonight and that’s that. Dancing, drinks and potentially taking home dubious bed partners.” Bea stated with a playful wink. “Maybe even karaoke. I do love a good karaoke.”

“So we are going out tonight and that’s that. Dancing, drinks and potentially taking home dubious bed partners.” Bea stated with a playful wink. “Maybe even karaoke. I do love a good karaoke.”
“Hey Ow!” Peter appeared to whine at the sudden assault. “It’s not like I was doing anything I was just… looking.” He tried to validate as he pulled his gaze away from the female.
“Okay so I drink a cocktail or two while grading papers, don’t judge,” Susan said with a giggle, “Alright, you can judge, just don’t tell my students.I’ll never live it down.”
“Oh my gosh, this is amazing and I do not use that word about food lightly,” Sunny said, pointing at the plate, “Have you tried this? It’s fantastic. My compliments to the chef.”
“Oh no, no, no,” Ella muttered to herself as she rummaged through her bag without any luck. She then got up and looked around her table, even moving the chair away to make sure the folder was not there. “I’m sorry, but have you noticed a blue folder somewhere? I seem to have misplaced it,” she asked the person sitting nearby.
“Oh my goodness, I am so sorry!” Elsa exclaimed when her ball his someone instead of landing on the other side of the net. “Are you okay? Can I get you anything?” She asked, sounding a little worried that the other could be badly hurt.
Just get this match over with and get out.
Easier said than done.
Steve didn’t underestimate or miscalculate his opponents often, but tonight was not his night. His opponent had a few tricks up his sleeve, ones Steve was not prepared for. They went at if for quite a few rounds, but it was getting so bad that Steve could barely see out his left eye. Another punch to the nose and he was down for the count. Steve kicked himself for losing, but shook his opponent’s hand and left the ring with dignity. He grabbed a towel and plugged his nose to try and stop the bleeding. He couldn’t see the person next to him while he was tipping his head back towards the celing, but he heard them. “Hey, I know I probably look gross, but would you mind handing me a water? I’d really appreciate it.” He caught sight of the money in hand and sighed. “Hope you didn’t plan to bet on me.”
Brody had been writing out the math that he was working on for a good few minutes before he noticed someone standing near him. As he caught their gaze, he smiled a bit before speaking. “Engineers just never take their eyes off their work. Kind of a problem really.” He spoke. “Something I can do you?”
tin looked lost. he looked down the address and then looked up once more. he was more then certain he was lost. he put the paper back down in his pocket and spotted a person. with a bright smile he walked over to them and offered a little wave. “hi, hello. sorry to bother you but do you think you can help me out real quick?”
“Gossip? My ears are burning,” Caroline said with a smirk, “Are you just gonna tell me you have gossip or are you gonna keep me on my toes? Because if you’re just gonna tease and not follow through, I’m gonna have to finish my drink elsewhere,” She teased.
“Christ on a cracker,” Klaus said, turning around to see someone standing there and watching him, “You scared the Jesus out of me. What the hell are you doing? How long have you been standing there? Were you watching me, that seems like an invasion of privacy.”
“Everyone’s currently on the break, but if you leave the books on the counter, they’ll return them for you,” Evelyn told the other as they seemed to hesitate.
“What? I felt like splurging today.” Magnus commented with a grin on his face as he stood with several bags on either arms all from expensive clothes, jewellery and perfume shops. “A boys allowed to treat himself now and again.”
“Say that to me again and I’ll have no qualms about turning you into a plate of sushi.” Uma immediately threatened the person who’d decided it was a smart idea to make that comment towards her. No doubt she was getting looks from the others in the room but she’d never been able to stand that type of entitlement.
“My aunt Hilda made those so you’re welcome to try one,” Sabrina told the other, motioning at the bag of cookies laying on the table in front of her.
Aslan usually didn’t stray too far from his office when he took his lunch break…which is why he was shocked to see his office door slightly ajar when he was certain he had shut it completely. He entered in quietly, tip-toeing around his shelves until he spotted the unexpected guest. “If you’re looking for something, don’t hesitate to ask. Some people get lost in my maze of collections.” Aslan smiled, hoping the intruder understood that he wasn’t upset at their visit, even if it was unexpected.
“It’s nice to escape town for a bit isn’t it? I always did have a fondness for the countryside.”
