You know, I was just thinking…

Users have the ability to heal programs, right? Like Kevin healed Quorra. Restored her ripped off arm, that might be difficult (with ISOs at least) but still possible

But after rewatching Scars I just thought, why couldn’t he heal Dyson? He was scarred, but due to CLU’s words nobody else cared to repair him. Why? Was Flynn procrastinating or something? Like homework he didn’t care about idk. What did Tron do about this? Did he ask Flynn to help Dyson? I mean, Dyson was his friend. He surely did care about Dyson’s injury.

It just looks painful… Kevin why are you smiling at this?? Poor man need some help

I guess Dyson had some reasons. But still he is a jerk and I hate him for what he did to Tron

random thoughts i had on this off the top of my head:

1. Flynn doesn’t see the programs as actual living beings 2. Flynn saw Quorra as a living being, but that was bc she was an ISO and was like his only friend for some interminable amount of time 3. In the scene in question, task-oriented Tron was probably more concerned with Flynn smoothing over the larger conflict going on in the Grid than making sure Dyson got his face fixed 4. Also! Tron seems reluctant to dare ask Flynn (or anyone) for anything, directly. he seems to hint at it, when he tells Flynn “Dyson sustained that injury in the line of duty” like ahem flynn… bro… my man’s got half his head ripped off… do that magic user thing you do… but Flynn is clueless

sidenote: Flynn’s defining character flaw is his cluelessness. don’t you love irony?

Well, yeah, thought about that, but... like... I feel so sad about it, and kind of annoyed. Kevin, you discovered-kind-of-created full new world with living creatures in it, and these creatures treat you as a God! I know that it may be difficult to play god at first but you now got the consequences and an evil clone and some programmes who truly hate you. I really adore Kevin but... C’mon pal. Politics and sociology might be difficult for you sometimes, right

At this point, Dyson truly could have a point thinking that users just don’t care enough. And maybe he was not that wrong... I feel bad about this situation
