I had some requests for Lucius/Hermione fic recs. Almost everything I’m going to reccomend is rated M/NC-17/E, etc.

1. First, go to LaurieLove’s fanfic page and read all of it. No, seriously. All of it. Even the HP/Peter Pan crossover with Captain Hook (Hook and Lucius are both played by Jason Isaacs in the films). I’m not as crazy about her Severus/Hermione stories, but her Lumione are amazing. She has a few bit of Dramione too. Of her stories, my favorite is probably Discovering Beauty, and the accompanying one-shots.

Her story Sense of Taste was the first fanfiction story to break my heart and make me literally cry.
The Sense of Taste By: Laurielove -M- NOW COMPLETE. Hermione is inwardly struggling to be the perfect wife and mother. Understanding comes from a shocking source. And a certain former Death Eater is equally horrified by his reaction to seeing the muggle-born again. M readers only. LM/HG

Laurie has some stories still floating around under her other penname Illuminaire, but I think some of those may have been lost when Granger Enchanted was taken down.
2. When you’re finished reading Laurie’s work, go check out LanaDrama.
She has a lot of Lumione WIPs, some shorter complete stories, and they’re all great. Some of the stories I’ve enjoyed:

3. When you’re done with that, head over to AO3, and read For Pure Blood by MalfoyCouture.
This story blew me away. I started reading it thinking that it would be just another “poor naive Hermione, seduced by the big bad Death Eater story,” and it’s not. At all. Actually, whatever you think about it at the beginning will be wrong because this story has more twists and turns than you would ever expect.
For Pure Blood by malfoycouture Hermione strikes a deal with Lucius Malfoy, but both get more than they bargained for. Hermione learns that her intentions are not as noble as she initially thought. Lucius learns that Hermione is not to be underestimated; beneath her Head Girl facade is a witch as ruthless as he is. What follows are hard lessons for both regarding trust, power, selfishness, redemption, and sacrifice.
“You do like that, don’t you?” Lucius said, his voice low, seductive. “It’s almost as if you want to enjoy this. But that would be unthinkable, wouldn’t it?”

This is a WIP, last updated in 2015, but it’s absolutely worth the read. This has Lucius like I’ve only very rarely seen him in terms of his childhood and his background and the way he interacts with Hermione.

Love Thy Enemy is one of my favorites. It’s got humor, sadness, love, and a happy ending, but there are plenty of other good ones from this author.
