Remember when you were drafted to the NFL?

“WOOO!!!” AJ started loudly, clapping his hands together as he took a seat. “Honestly, that say was one of the most nerve wracking days of my life. Cause, first I had to have cameras set up in my apartment and they started rolling at 11am and that day was chaotic cause ma’s flight was delayed and she wound up coming at like 6:30, so I’m hauling ass to the airport, luckily she—her?, Ivy, and Nonna made some quick meals, Lola helped Pops and I fix up the living room, whole shebang, right? Right.” AJ then began to calm down from his lightning speed ramble and grinned. “It happened in slow motion. I was fourth in line and the first to be called for the Los Angeles Chargers. Hearing my name and seeing those colors made my heart soar. Mind you, I was also 48 hours shy of graduating college. So when I graduated, I got to wear a custom made jersey that they had given me for the ceremony. It was a pretty big deal, for sure. Fuck, I miss that moment.”

   “Well…I have another two weeks with this baby on my hand, when I tell you, it would suck if I only wrote with my right hand, good thing I can write on my left and right.” Sooyun waved up the pink cast that already had signatures and doodles from her friends, knocking on the cast and laughed, “All I know is next time I decide to deck someone, I’ll make sure I’m not super angry.” 

“Damn, it’s been that long already?” AJ whistled and shook his head. “Wow, you fuckin’ powered your way through it! How’s your hand feeling?” He asked curiously. “Easy there, Tyson, you’re already thinking about decking the next person and your hand hasn’t fully re-situated its bones yet, chill,” He laughed, shaking his head.

    [  Bodhi stared at AJ for a second, “Of course,” he laughed. Maybe he should listen to Lennon more when she spoke about that stuff. But she went on about numbers more than anything. Bodhi whistled and shook his head. “20 bucks? Damn thing better have a complimentary 10 bucks with it,” he said with slight disbelief. Bodhi listened to AJ, almost like an entranced child. More than anything, the man loved ghost stories. In practice, of course. Disturbing the dead would have huge repercussions. “Okay, you have to tell me about it. We can trade ghost story for ghost story,” he offered. Hopefully AJ would find it just as enticing of an offer as Bodhi would have. Had he been on the other end.

“Maaan, you would think! That shit just ain’t worth the hype, my guy,” AJ shook his head with a laugh at the memory of having lunch at the Museum of Science and Industry. He learned his lesson the hard way that day. “You drinking anything tonight?” He offered first and foremost. He made it his very damn mission to make sure his party guests were comfortable and having a good time. “We can have a seat near the pool and talk about ghosts. I’ve got ghost stories from the River Walk for days. That place is the most haunted, I’d say next to the Congress Hotel.”

What's your favorite planet and why?

"My favorite planet is Saturn," AJ nodded with a big grin. "It's a gas giant and it's got these cool rings and has 82 moons!!! Can you believe that?! I wish I could live on Saturn and see 82 moons everyday but my teacher says that you can't live on Saturn because it's a gas giant and you'll just fall straight through. Sounds kinda scary, if you ask me."

August heard the call for shots and decided to partake. He jumped when he suddenly was face-to-face with the party’s host. “Fuck, you scared me!” he sighed. “I’m good, I’m good. Are you alright? Oh hey, we’re matching!” He pointed to the man’s Patrick Star shorts, then back to his own. 

AJ laughed, shaking his head and patted the guy’s shoulder. “Yeah, I’m good, my guy. All good in the hood,” He grinned brightly. “Oh shiiit!” He looked down and grinned. “We gotta round up the Patricks that roll in tonight and take a squad picture later tonight.”

Scarlett heard a mention of shots and headed in the direction of the voice and kitchen when she felt herself stumbling back slightly, having been knocked into, “It’s all good. No bumps or bruises.” She smiled at him, “I heard a mention of shots so came for shots.”

“Well luckily, there’s no spilled drinks, am I right?” AJ joked playfully and then cleared his throat. “Sorry, real bad joke. Anyways, yeah, we’re about to gather everyone in for the first round of shots. It’s tradition back at home. People are coming in, we call first round, and so on and so forth until y’know we’re fucked up or tapped out.”
