“Now that is a question I can’t ask since my own love life is currently out of order for the time being,” Lenny laughed, “But you can always try and ask a friend to set you up for a blind date–although those are also awkward if you’re not into the person.” She nodded her head in agreement, “Pretty much that is it.”
“Yeah, I tried to go on a blind date a few weeks ago, and... sheesh. It was not good. I’d be open to trying again, just not anyone that that friend suggests.” His friend Jenna had bad taste in men when it came to her own love life, so August should have expected her to be a bad matchmaker. “But really? You’re out of order? Come on, Len. You’re young and hot.”

15. Have you ever traveled outside of your area to see a concert? If not, would you want to?
Answered here.
16. Have you ever been in the first row for a concert? If not, what was the closest seat you’ve ever had?
“The closest I’ve come to front row was in 2014. It was Taylor Swift, Pharrell, and Ariana Grande at the Hollywood Bowl. I was in the Garden Boxes. I won the tickets through a radio contest.”
17. If you could go back in time and attend any artist/band’s concert that you were unable to attend, who would it be and when?
“I’d go to see pretty much any show from Backstreet Boys’ Into the Millennium Tour. I was a little kid then, so I wasn’t seeing any concerts.”
18. What decade do you think had the best music? Is there any particular year that you think was the best?
“I’m tied between the 90′s and the 2010′s.”
19. Who is your favorite member of your favorite band?
“Easy. Nick Carter from Backstreet Boys.”

5. Name an album you feel is perfect

15. Have you ever traveled outside of your area to see a concert? If not, would you want to?
“Sorta? I saw a concert in Chicago when I was there for work. I’d count that as being outside of my area.”
25. Name a song that makes you think about someone you love
“Britney Spears’ ‘Till The World Ends’ makes me think of having dance parties in my sister’s room with her during late high school/early college.”
35. Name two musicians who haven’t already collaborated on anything who you think would sound great together
“Ooh. Meg Thee Stallion and Kendrick Lamar. I can’t explain why, I just want it to happen.”
4-6
4. Name 1-3 LEAST favorite songs off one of your favorite albums
“The Weeknd’s Starboy album is one of my all-time faves. My least favorite songs off that album are ‘True Colors,’ ‘Stargirl Interlude,’ and ‘Attention.’”
5. Name an album you feel is perfect
“I’m gonna give this title to Lady Gaga’s Born This Way.”
6. From the album you feel is perfect, what three songs would you choose to eliminate if you absolutely had to?
“Evil! This question is evil! Damn. Shit... ‘You And I,’ ‘Americano,’ and... ‘Bad Kids.’ Don’t kill me.”

[ Bodhi nodded, flashing an awkward smile to August. “Told you it was long and dramatic,” he sighed. “To be a little fair, it was a boarding school so there’s a lot of pent up hormones,” Bo stated, biting at his lip a little as if this explanation would help make it seem like less of an overdramatic debacle. “But yeah, that’s the basic gist. And I ended up dating Wes, so Kai wasn’t completely off the money,” Bodhi replied, voice trailing off at the end.
“Damn, that’ll do it.” August laughed. “I can’t say I have any experience with boarding school. I’ve never even gone to sleepaway camp.” It wasn’t something his parents could ever afford. “Damn. So why’d he take that girl to homecoming if he liked you the entire time? Or did he not realize he liked you until afterwards?” August felt invested in this story now.
valentinaxspiva:
“I mean…apparently my life is very lifetime material, I just need to be swept off my feet–or perhaps chased after in an airport like Sleepless in Seattle.” Lenny grinned and shrugged, “Oh you know…proposed to me in a romantic setting, friends from college, got a little Grey’s Anatomy minus the characters always dying.”
“Damn, I want someone to chase after me in an airport like Sleepless in Seattle. Where do I find a handsome guy to do that for me?” August loved the concept of love, but didn’t have much luck in the sense of finding someone. “So the only thing that was like Grey’s Anatomy was that you’re a doctor? ‘Cause everyone dying seems to be a pretty big part of that show.”
bodhihudson:
[ Bo’s eyebrows drew together. “That’s such an impersonal experience,” he muttered, however he could definitely relate. “Sounds like me and my friend Wes. Who, coincidentally, is involved in the homecoming debacle,” Bodhi began. He took a deep breath, “SO. My best friend Wes took this girl, Pattie, to homecoming. Pattie had a crush on Wes, they were nominated for homecoming king and queen. But when it was time to announce who won Wes’ roommate Kai got pissed that Wes and Pattie were nominated and like ruined the crowning for my friend Arinta. He also got like hella possessive and said he liked Wes despite Kai having a boyfriend, Aiden. And then threw shit my way because he felt Wes liked me. At this point I decided to peace out to the beach because that was way more stressful than it needed to be,” he stated, giving the TLDR version of events.
August blinked at him, trying to process all of this information. “So let me get this straight. Wes and Pattie went to homecoming and were nominated for homecoming king and queen. Kai wanted Arinta to win, and also had feelings for Wes, despite dating someone else. And Wes may or may not have had feelings for you?” All of that sounded like something out of a teen soap opera.

GET UP, SALUTE THE FLAG
bodhihudson:
[ Bodhi gave a solemn nod in agreement. “My relationship status was a hot topic in school if I’m going to be honest. It was draining. My cousin also caused a lot of drama. UH, there was the homecoming debacle,” he couldn’t help but slightly rolling his eyes at the mention of homecoming. High school gave him opportunities that he was thankful for, but he would never go back. Bodhi was surprised it didn’t give him grey hair. “Oh, thank you,” he replied, smiling at the compliment but putting his hands over his cheeks- a bit of a bashful habit he developed.
“The fact that I was gay was a real hot topic for a while, but more so in middle school than high school.” August was in 7th grade when he came out publicly. By the end of high school, it became generally more accepted in society. “And this thing I had with another guy at school. We never exactly dated, but we kissed a few times, and he didn’t like when people found out about it. What was the homecoming debacle?” His interest had been piqued.

"Did this guy really just hand me his real ID, grab it back, and then hand me a fake? What, does he think I was born yesterday?"
bodhihudson:
[ “I mean, it’s still a fun story! The only thing you’re missing out on is the dumb drama,” he replied, shaking his head. Bodhi now looked back on high school in a nostalgic sort of way- Previously, it had mostly been with a groan and an eyeroll. “My shiny teeth and me,” Bo laughed out.
“Oh boy was the drama dumb in high school. It was always who’s fucking who, and which teacher is hot, and who got caught smoking weed under the bleachers.” August rolled his eyes thinking about it. He didn’t like thinking about grade school, because it reminded him of how the racists and homophobes teamed up to make his life hellish. “Well, you do have a nice smile,” he shared, nudging Bodhi.
