Arizona's Generation and Transmission Cooperatives take pride in how long it has kept its employees! Hear from a few who have been with us for the longest time: 40 years each!
Benson Hospital offers more preventative care with help of Arizona's Generation and Transmission Cooperatives. Benson Hospital receives a $280,000 low-interest loan from USDA Rural Economic Development Loan and Grant program with the help of AzGTs and Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative. The loan will allow the hospital to expand its physical rehabilitation facility and to add a gastrointestinal lab.
Power pole replacement while the line is "hot". Arizona's Generation and Transmission Cooperatives (AzGTs) linemen replace a power pole while the line remains energized, with 230,000 volts, or 230 kV, still running through it. They work with the hot line because summertime demand requires more from the electrical grid. Shutting down a portion of the grid is sometimes not an option.
