So, I watched a very informative video on fasting. I am very much aiming more than three days because after 72 hours, my body will be in ketosis. It took me a few days to do research on this, since I really didn’t want a chance of hurting my body until I was fully educated on this (A fast past than a day). Now.. I want to do this because I want to cleanse my body and get rid of all the yucky stuff I ate. I’m 5'3 and 52lbs overweight. I want to post my progress every single day of my fast. I’m so very glad I found that video, because so many people do not transition out of their fasts that well, or healthy in that matter. (Most I’ve seen gets sick or eat lots of sugar) I will post what I’ve learned, just incase anyone is wanting to do this as well. I really want everyone to do this safely🌻💛 I will credit the YouTuber in my tags.
It’s very much recommended to start on a Thursday or Friday. Your second through fourth day are going to SUCK. Your body is trying to burn the last of your glucose while trying to move onto burning your fat for fuel. (Ketosis) So please do this on less busier days. Remember sugar is 8x more addictive than cocaine. You’ll feel it, your brain fogs and you’ll feel fatigue. Try to get through it and by day five will feel way different.
Drink a gallon of water (filtered) and drink out of a glass for least toxicity.
At the beginning of each day, drink 10oz of lukewarm water with one teaspoon of organic himalayan pink salt. It reduces blood pressure and stimulates your electrolyte balance.
Drink half a gallon to a gallon and a half of water. (Drink when your body tells you to, do not force yourself to drink water)
Every night, drink 1-2 tablespoons of ACV (Apple cider vinegar) Very much recommended to get braggs because it’s organic. Personally for me, I am not going to be using Braggs. As long as it says “with mother” you should be fine. The person In the video didn’t specify how to drink it, but I recommend you to mix it in with water. It will taste less horrible haha, and it won’t burn your throat. It will help balance the Ph of your liver, and stimulate the hydrochloric acid in your stomach.
Half an hour of direct sunlight. No sunscreen or lotion.
Five minutes before ending a shower, change the temperature to ice cold. It helps drop cortisol levels, and shoots up your adrenaline! (I’ve showered in ice cold water in the past, it feels great)
So, if you’re a male reading this.. you’re reducing inflammation all over your body. That includes your prostate, so, throughout your whole fast do not masturbate.
HOW TO EASE OUT OF FAST (3-5 days)
Day one: Have 48oz of Bonafide beef bone broth. (I’m personally going try Bonafide chicken broth and will document my results) You will still being doing your pink salt in lukewarm water in the morning, as well as ACV at night.
Day two: Have 2 cups of steamed spinach/kale (OR both) Also again, have your Bonafide beef bone broth
Day three: You’re done! It’s safe to eat whatever.
Days one through three: You will be doing just Bonafide beef bone broth.
Days four and five: Bonafide beef bone broth with the spinach/kale. You’ll still be doing the salt & acv.
Day six: READ THIS THROUGH. You will NEED to spend this day at home. You’ll be eating fermented foods. You will have the runs! Haha. You are still doing the acv and acv.
Make sure to slowly introduce your foods back in.
I am very excited to try this! I’ve always been overweight since I was a pre-teen. (I’m eighteen currently) I’ve never been in a healthy weight range. Since I’m 50lbs overweight, I’m pretty positive I’ll burn a lot of it once I get into ketosis. I’m aiming for seven days, if I can get past that, I will keep going. Once I am done with my fast, and my body is cleansed, I’ll be eating very healthier and exercising more. I really hope by the end of my fast I’ll be in the 150s or 160s at most, if I can get past ten days. Feel free to leave me asks!!!!!!
Give your body rest, give your body a break so do not exercise. You are making a temporary sacrifice. Do this at your own risk, I am not responsible for you. Stay safe lovelies. 🌻💛
