面識ない人からなんか僕じゃどうしようもない感じの文句…？ボヤき？を言われてちっと変な感じになってたんですが、僕が尊敬している方から「馬を描くのが上手だ、描いてきた年月が見えるよ」って言われて、強固に何糞頑張るぞってなってた部分が崩壊してぶわーっとなっている今（笑）

年月が見えるよ、ってこんなに嬉しい言葉無い。

僕は僕の見たいものを魅力的に描くためだけの努力しかしてないです。

I'd have to imagine that the other active party members would have to be on some sort of system similar to FF12's Gambits, where you can set them to heal if anyone goes below a certain HP%, drawing aggro, and things like that. Battle style looks like some sorta cross between FF15 and Kingdom Hearts as well. I'm not setting the bar way to high, but I think switching to this style may work out super well for FF7R.

My guess is that they’re going to use whatever system they first intended for FFXV. I do remember them wanting to be able to have the whole party controllable but because of tech and/or time, they couldn’t implement it. And in the newest video with Kitase, he said the remake won’t be completely action based. Well, whatever hybrid they’re working on, it looks good… SO FAR. As long as I can execute all my party member’s moves how I want, I’ll be happy.

Thoughts on the new FF7R footage:

-Cloud’s arms are kinda flimsy looking but at least his hair retains its Chocobo butt resemblance (they’ve been working on that technology for years now, so nothing new). I don’t have an opinion on Barrett’s shades, but I’m happy he doesn’t have the AC mesh shirt. It would be great if his gun arm was comically larger though.

-I’m not keen on the English voices, so I will just pray there’s a Japanese voice option. Also, the dialogue indicates you won’t be able to rename Cloud. Boo! However, it looks like they’re staying pretty faithful to the original translation. I’m still crossing my fingers for that “let’s mosey!”

-It looks like you can switch between party members in battle! I’m pretty stoked about that since it’s the next best thing to turn-based combat, in my opinion. Although it leaves a lot of questions about limit breaks and enemies and such.

-There’s no clear indication on whether you can switch characters outside of battle, but that would be pretty sweet if it can be done. I mean, there are parts in the game where Cloud isn’t in the party at all so they’ll have to do the work for those characters at the very least.

-Most importantly: When will we get Aerith fighting gameplay? When do I get to see her impale enemies with a giant metal stick???
