The Blue King of the Sky

The Azure Rathalos, a subspecies of the normal (red) Rathalos, is a dangerous beast. As of now, he has no name, but is still feared due to his title alone. Few humans who see him survive, and if they do, they'll likely have quite the story to tell to those they know. [[This is an Indie RP blog. READ THE ABOUT ME. IT'S REALLY SHORT BUT USEFUL. There will be no NSFW content here(I'm rping a wyvern for goodness' sake!). There will probably be fights and maybe a bit of blood/gore, but nothing over-the-top. Growls in pain and bites the back of the other dragon’s neck, he was going to be the one who ruled the skies

The Rathalos screeches and writhes, flapping his wings and lashing his tail about to get the other to let go. He's not going to give up his title, especially not to another dragon who invaded HIS territory! Despite the pain it causes, he yanks his neck out of the other's grasp and turns around, returning the favor and biting down into his throat with the intent to kill. He's not letting go this time, no matter what.

He snorts and casts a glance at him, but goes back to watching the fish. Then, he gets an idea. Opening his jaws, he lowers his face into the water and stands almost painfully still, waiting. At the slightest touch on one of his teeth, he snaps his jaws shut, grabbing onto a fish and pulling his face away from the water to eat the fish. New hunting tactic devised!

Hiccup smiled, clapping a bit. ” ah wow you figured it out!” He was glad he didn’t have to fish for him anymore.

He makes a chirping sound in delight and flaps his wings whilst puffing his chest out. He's one happy wyvern!

He snorts and nudges him again with a pleading look in his eye.

Hiccup grumbled, fishing out another fish ” There. no more.” He stated, pushing the fish closer to him.

He once again grabs onto it and swallows it whole. He’s not as hungry as before, but he’s still hungry. Begging the human for food is taking too long.

Growling, he turns to face the water again watches the fish. Looks like he’s going to try and fish on his own again.

Hiccup sat on the ground, patting him on the leg ” You know…you..you aren’t really like other dragons. I mean..you did try to kill me at first…”

He snorts and casts a glance at him, but goes back to watching the fish. Then, he gets an idea. Opening his jaws, he lowers his face into the water and stands almost painfully still, waiting. Eyes shine in the light and grins, sprinting out and tackling him into the water, holding him underneath

He yelps and flails about, unable to breath and panicking. In an attempt to escape, he wildly thrashes his tail about and whacks it against any part of the dragon he can reach.

Lands and continually blasts electrical fire at him and disappears into the shadows

Just before he has a chance to attack--and after dodging the blasts of fire--he pauses to hover and watch as the other dragon seems to retreat. He takes a deep breath, growls, holds his wings out to glide-in-place, and releases the breath in a triumphant roar.

Soon after, he circles down to the ground and lands next to one of his lakes to get a drink of water.

He looks down at the fish, quickly grabs onto it, and swallows it whole. Grumbling a little, he nudges Hiccup, begging him to grab another.

Hiccup sighed, ” Listen I’m not gonna have you depend on me for food. You can go ahead and try on your own. I need to get some sleep.”

He snorts and nudges him again with a pleading look in his eye.

He narrows his eyes and tries again to catch a fish. When he misses, he snarls and slams his tail against the ground, more frustrated then before. His stomach gives an angry rumble, driving him to try—and fail—again.

His kind just isn’t meant to fish.

Hiccup sighed, walking forward. ” Need help?” He bent down onto his knees, and rolled his sleeves up. He dipped his hands into the cold water and some how pulled a fish out of the water. He pushed the flopping fish near the dragon. ” There.”

He stops and watches him, surprised. How did he--

He looks down at the fish, quickly grabs onto it, and swallows it whole. Grumbling a little, he nudges Hiccup, begging him to grab another.

He follows after him, observing his surroundings and memorizing each little thing he saw. As they reach the lake, he walks to the edge, looks down at the water and watches as a few large fish go by. Fascinated, he lowers his head and sniffs at the water, bares his teeth, and lunges, going for one, but missing it entirely. He pulls his face back and stumbles backward to sneeze and sputter and shake off, annoyed and confused as to why the fish seemed to be a little ways away from where it looked to be. Flapping his wings a couple of times, he growls and walks back to the water’s edge to watch the fish, determined to catch one.

Hiccup laughed a bit. It was strange to see a dragon that didn’t know how to fish. He took this opportunity to try and leave. He got up slowly and walked backwards to avoid him.

He smirks as his fire proof skin and scales prevent him from injury and he claws the other dragon's neck

He harshly flaps his wings and kicks up dust as he forces himself backward. Baring his teeth once more, he flies up into the air and circles the other from a good 50-feet in the sky, searching for a weak spot or opening to strike.

He grunts and promptly drops the sheep, which scurries back to its flock immediately afterward. He watches the little animal run away, then turns his attention back to Hiccup, looking confused. He doesn’t understand why he didn’t want him to have the sheep.

Hiccup ran a hand through his hair, huffing a bit. ” Listen you can’t just take our sheep! That’s stealing. if you’re hungry go get some of the fish in the lake over the hill.” He pointed in the direction where it was. He shooed him off, glaring a bit. ” I don’t want you to get caught.”

He glances in the direction that Hiccup pointed him in, but looks back at him and just stands there, staring at him. At the gesture for him to leave, he snorts, leans down, and sniffs at him, not getting it.

He ceases the sheep in his jaws and looks around, only to spot Hiccup and wag his tail a little, knocking a few more sheep away. The sheep in his jaws puts up much worse of a racket than the others and flails around, trying to free itself. Slowly, he turns his body to face him and walks forward, trampling the fence holding the sheep and snorting a few times. He seems happy to see him.

Whips tail up to save himself and shrieks as one of the skin flaps (used for flight) is ripped off

He rights himself and, as the other shrieks, blasts a ball of fire at his throat.
