I've forgotten *my own birthday* before. There are several years of my life just straight up missing. In the past I've forgotten silly little frivolous things like NAMES OF LOVED ONES or WHERE MY HOUSE IS. But obviously none of that was important. Fucking awful, ableist thing to say.

I remember things when it's routine, and anything that isn't routine is really really difficult. So it sucks when my friends tell me IMPORTANT things or not even important things and I just can't remember them. And it makes me feel like I'm a horrible friend. And I really try to remember those things too. It sucks
