This mostly comes from the fact guinea pigs come from the Andes region, Peru specifically, and cavyverse origins are the same area (like how people evolved starting with Africa)

and all the countries in the Andes region are secondary characters alongside canon cavyfied ones!

the ancients in the AU will be much different too. It will be Aztec and Inca rather than European regions.

here’s my list of what characters I will make as cavy OCs for the AU:

Peru; Colombia; Ecuador; Chile; Brazil; Argentina; Mexico; Dominican Republic (fact: first writing on guinea pigs was found in Santo Domingo); Haiti; and the ancients I mentioned. (+ I wanted a plot line about the tribal healing rituals that use real guinea pigs)

CAVYTALIA UPDATE!!!

GENERAL INFO DUMPING:

I’ll be making a series of cutouts of as many hetalia characters as I can (not ones I don’t know much about, so it’ll be kind of lackluster.) but I do plan on the G8 obviously, the 6 secondary characters, Baltics, Nordics, Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Turkey and Greece, Belarus, Ukraine, Korea, and Sealand. Not really much on ancients, idk what to do with that + guinea pigs come from ancient Latin America.

For now, I’m doing the Axis powers as cutouts, because I wanted to make improvised skits with these and in the first episode it introduces the Axis Herd. Cavytalia characters occasionally live with their herds with countries they have alliance with, but always have the option to go back to their home country when needed. Cavytalia focuses a lot on antics and guinea pig traits. They’re anthropomorphic and seem like their normal counterparts but it’s sometimes interrupted with rumblestrutting and animal-like assertive behavior.

Oh and there’s ship content too heheheeee. Guinea pigs are queer as hell and same sex dominant behaviors prove it. I’ll put a bit of freaky humor into it but not too far.

The Cavytalia characters will also use their chosen pet names sometimes, you guys may know this about what I said on “Cheddar Big Booty Cheeseburger” aka America. It’s an alternative to human names in this AU.

I’ll probably post the episodes on my YouTube channel, I’ve seen two channels do skits in a similar format so I don’t think doing it too would hurt. Not to mention, it’s an AU, not stuff based around canon hetalia and human counterpart stuff.

so, I was on a car ride last night and thought of MORE disturbing stuff about how Astro twists and since I haven’t shared it here I will. (mostly because canon twisted Astro was done SO dirty oh my god. Plus I like when people make the twisteds disturbing or have body horror.)

Well, I guess I’ll go ahead and yap about him!

(also yes I’m using alt text to describe art now on it lowk helps how I share and envision things, not just the accessibility part)

As Astro twists he starts self harming by anything caused by his hands. Most commonly being scratching, skin picking, biting and hitting. He comes back to the same injuries to get more ichor from them too, which caused his ultimate twisted form to have disfigured limbs and face. He continues this behavior when he’s away from other twisteds and occasionally eats himself because of the ichor addiction. His clothes are ripped to get to previous injuries easier. Remember, he is doing this as part of his brain rewiring to cause his addiction, it is NOT for suicidal reasons. it’s not intentional either, the real Astro wouldn’t be caught doing this. In fact the partly twisted Astro stayed in his room before complete silence.

But what happened to the real Astro during this?

Welp, he’s dead.

His body gave out 25% through twisting and he lost so much ichor needed to supply his body from the self harm behavior that he just dropped on the floor. It was a complete mistake to die like this, or maybe the twisting stuff in his brain WANTED his ultimate twisted form to come out like that. The only reason he’s “alive” as a twisted, is because once fully becoming twisted while he laid there cold, it made him come back to life, but as a monster.

so uhh I GUESS I contributed to the dead Astro theory???? idk man he’s still not rlly dead to me it’s just an ichor operation scenario.

Don’t associate this post with canon dandys world or blushcrunch, didn’t attach the cutesy handle image because it’s too inappropriate for this post.

So, with the drama being spread around more, I found some reassurance in comments saying that it’s okay to dissociate the characters from blushcrunch because you like them. In my case, I add new stories to them because the lore is so dull and bland (ESPECIALLY for Astro). Literally the first thing I do MOMENTS before I find out qwel is problematic was customizing my Astro plushie to look like my headcanon version, and I don’t regret it. I feel a stronger bond towards him now!

I’ll start attaching the below image to help ppl understand how I approach this, dandys world tags will still be on these so I can have the fandom supporting fan works over the actual thing.

hiya!!! this is a rant, trigger warning for topics such as grooming in later sections. basically this drama is related to the Rox thing. But for the most part I yap about plot and design issues. The *very* end of my post is kinda important though, please don’t hate me for it.

Here’s something I wanted to say before drama related things though. I quit playing dandy’s world. DONT FREAK OUT! I just quit the game, I did so a while ago, not quitting my hyperfixation on fan projects and stuff. And Astro is still very much my comfort character, but now it’s just exclusive to my headcanon version. All I’m gonna say about quitting the game is that it got boring as hell, sorry to say it. It felt repetitive to me and I stopped feeling that same hype I did for grinding for stuff.

My bigger problem though? The game is literally just fanservice and skinslop now. I almost had hope for toon of the week (though they HAD to start with sprout, in canon he’s such an asshole), and the lore tape that comes out of it??? HE TALKS ABOUT MISSING COSMO. BRO HE’S SUCH A PLOT DEVICE, MAKE FRUITCAKE CANON ATP/hj. Was also kind of upset because Astro just sat there and kind of…sympathized with him I guess. That was sad. Astro BARELY gets lore other than being DaNdYs BeSt FrIeNd and everyone turning away from him. That’s it? Bro all I’ve done with canon Astro is rely on his personality traits but even that doesn’t do enough and I still headcanon the shit out of my version.

Not to mention I’ve started to hate the design choices. Do they have to be THAT simplistic? Astro is literally just a bald blue moon with a tiny blanket and chicken feet.

(I start discussing the possibly triggering stuff here)

Anyways, that’s all I had about explaining my problems with canon Dandys World. I’ll keep this short because I don’t know much about it but it’s not looking good.

No, Qwelver. I don’t forgive you. Even after I quit it always seemed to amaze me that you erm…cared about your fans. That doesn’t mean you get to put all the stuff they want in game, but, i really did appreciate what you did following chat restrictions. Those feelings all just went away as soon as i hear something about you (allegedly) letting rox continue being on your team is just…bro you’re a grown woman. please.

now that I’ve said all this, how come I still want to continue having the hyperfixation? All I have really done the whole time after quitting is supporting fan projects and other universes, especially when it comes to seeing headcanons (I was literally customizing my Astro plushie as my hc ver when I heard this), but however I might not approach anything in the first few days of this. If anything is not cleared up afterwards, then know supporting FANS is absolutely not supportive of Qwel. I’d love to continue seeing your views on the characters, helps me with realizing how bad the storytelling of canon Dandy’s world is. Might even start thinking of everyone’s view of the characters as unrelated to qwelver, just goes to show how pissed of this made me. Please don’t take this as me continuing tho bring attention to supporting blushcrunch, if we bring up the idea of separating art from artist as much as we can I think it MIGHT work, but my hopes aren’t high.
