"Why? Why couldn't we just be friends?" asked the girl as she is in the cage with the albino monkey outside of it. (Specter)

Specter crossed his arms while looking to the girl within the cage. She was such a great catch, her ability would definitely come in handy for him and his monkey followers.

“Be a friend to you? Why would I be your friend, or any human for that matter?” He shook his head. “Don’t answer that. As long as I have you, I’ll be strong enough to stop any fool who tries to cross my path.”

Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Joule looked up as she replied,”Not all Humans are bad. Some can be nice, like Gunvolt,”

But that’s because he’s a fellow adept..her insecurity around normal Humans has her unsure..

Shaking her insecurities away, she spoke,“You’re making a mistake, Mr. Specter, Gunvolt will come for me no matter what happens to me. Our music will attract his attention again,”

The young girl wasn’t going to give up hope even when she’s caught by an albino monkey.

"Oh, hello there Mr. Cute Monkey," she said as she looked to the albino ape with a smile. "How are you?"

The monkey turned to face a girl, looking rather annoyed to the fact that she had approached him. “If you’re going to call me, your future leader, then you should be calling me by name, Specter.” Tch, humans really didn’t know how to speak to him, did they? “If you’re asking about my well being, I’d be better if you were gone.”

Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ He’s going have to break that barrier somehow. Putting away his weapon, he channel his focus on his electrical prowess, but he had to be careful.

”Voltaic Chains!" he exclaimed as his electrical prowess formed into many chains of electricity that would come to surround Specter’s barrier, only to attempt to add pressure to constrain and crush it. 

All of this occurring as the Piposarus did the final thing to lock Joule in a cage: she was a present for their leader. She was caught and had no way out and in regret, she thought of what did she do wrong.

More electrical currents? It was a miracle that his barrier was keeping this up, though he could feel his helmet beginning to heat up. Not something he’d like to notice during a battle. Guess the helmet could only handle so much at a time, it was meant to handle this much power.

He figured he might as well and try something else, no use being this sitting target. Specter would have to let his helmet cool down after this trick, but it could be worth it. In an instant, he teleported behind Gunvolt and rushed towards him with his barrier still up.

Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ What the? He disappeared!

Before he could react, he was knocked aside by the barrier surrounding the albino and lost concentration of the electrical chains, causing them to fizzle out.

"Dammit," he mumbled before he got up off the ground, looking around trying to get a lock on the albino. However, he also had to let himself cool down for a bit before going for another powerful attack.

Again, he brought out his weapon, ready to shoot again.

Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Gunvolt’s electricity sparked as the energy ball draw closer to him and quickly dodged the attack.

"Never knew that a monkey like yourself can be so stubborn," he replied. "What I want to know is do you work with anyone; it’s unusual for an animal to be an adept as well,"

Before long, he brought out his specialized gun and shot several ‘needles’ at the helmet of the albino. He needed to make a connection to the albino’s helmet since it seems the only place to directly make an impact with his Flashfield ability.

In the meanwhile, Joule was being tied up in ropes and placed in a cage to prevent escape by the fanatic Piposarus that kidnapped her. “Let me go!” she begged.

If only she had something that would snap them out of this..

How annoying. He had dodged his boosted attack. Oh well, plenty more where that came from. “Tch. If you must know, I don’t work with others.” At least when it came to humans he didn’t, minus the rare occasion he did, but that didn’t happen often.

Specter knew the barrier could only last for so long, even when at a higher level it could handle just more attacks than his previous fights. Ugh, why did this human have to have specialized weapons? It seemed worse than those the professor gave to the usual cast of meddling humans.

Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 Has Been Announced For Nintendo 3DS

Azure Striker Gunvolt, the 2D side-scrolling action game, will be getting a sequel. The Gunvolt Official Twitter account revealed the more than welcome news on the popular social network today.

Her music was too good to resist.

Gunvolt came off stage and the electricity flowing through him was getting more intense as he said,”I’ve been up against odds, however the worst decision you made is by using Joule as a free pass for your own power!”

It was at this point that he’s fully engaged with Specter when the other Piposarus came up and silently kidnapped Joule to which Lumen had returned to as the fight was progressing.

The monkey had to laugh to a comment like that. How could he have been up against worse? Obviously he had never faced this monkey before and with a boost of his powers, the boy was in for a real threat.

"We’ll see if that decision was just as bad as you claim!" Specter said as he released the ball of energy, aiming right to the human. As soon as the energy ball had gained some distance from him, he went on the defense, ready to throw up a barrier if his attack missed.

Even if he loses this battle, he’ll be happy to know that theres a prize waiting for him thanks to his dear Piposarus.

She then became curious as she asked,"What's your name? I'm Joule,"

Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ As Joule and Lumen kept singing, the male came around and dropped in center stage, causing Joule to lose focus on her song, but it was already too late. By now, her song has made Specter that much of a bigger threat.

"Gunvolt!" exclaimed Joule as she was so happy to see him around and Lumen came around as she said,"I was beginning to wonder when you are going to show,"

"Lumen, Joule, are you okay?" he asked.

"We’re fine but.." said Joule before Lumen continued,"We have a monkey problem. Especially with that monkeybutt in the throne,"

Gunvolt looked around and lo and behold he caught sight of Specter.. “So you’re the one causing issues? Never seen anything like you before but I’m going to be sure to stop it!”

His electrical energy was building, charging the air around him. He was more than ready to put up a fight against the albino.

"Be careful Gunvolt. I don’t know how much stronger he is," warned Joule as her and Lumen watched.

Nothing could just go according to plan, could it? There was always someone who had to ruin his good moment. He should have been more alert, but he wasn’t aware of her ‘signal’ that was sent to the male. Oh well, it seems like he can’t negotiate with this one, nor does he want to. This would be a perfect chance to test out his strengthened abilities.

"Really? You plan to go up against me? You know you’re making the worst decision, but I won’t stop you. I’ll see to it that you’re properly disposed of."

While he had his electricity around him, the monkey let his throne carry him back, keeping distance from the human threat. At the same time, a ball of energy began to form in his palm, growing larger than it would have normally.

Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Joule wondered a bit about Valentine's Day. She has heard it was suppose to be a holiday of love or something like that.. she hasn't really celebrated it before after all.

Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Joule nodded and before long, the stage, speakers, microphone and other equipment came around, well with help of the Piposarus. The other Piposarus came around to see what was going came around; it looked to be a small performance about to happen.

Joule was on stage looking at the Piposarus, which most of them looked tired out.

'I hope this works..' she thought before she asked,'Lumen, are you ready?'

'Ready when you are Joule,' she replied.

Joule came to the microphone to test it a bit before she sighed a bit. The music started it’s harmonious chords through the speakers and not long, the song captured the Piposarus attention, turning their lights to yellow.

When the chorus part came in, both Lumen and Joule sung, the Piposarus began to feel more awake as if a new energy was stirring up their activity, making them more energetic if not dancing somewhat.

Unknown to them, the strong psychic energy emitting from both Joule and Lumen was not only making the monkeys more energetic and alive, but also attracting another individual, who was coming to the area where the mini concert was going on. 

'Joule..there you are. I'm going to get you and Lumen out of there,'

The male was making his move however he can’t come in too soon or too late, Joule and Lumen are in immense danger. The movements of the boy filled the air with electricity circulating around him and he was moving quickly on his feet.

Looks like there’s going to be a conflict.

Specter just sat back in his throne as the set up went on. He waited patiently for the job to be done and was eager to hear this magical music of hers. And when the song played, he seemed to gain the same energy that his little followers had gained, though he didn’t show it like they did.

The monkey was to wrapped up in the performance piece, already thinking of a way to keep her here, by force if necessary. That other half of her would be a problem, but he was certain that he’d be able to keep her to himself and his monkeys.

As for the unexpected guest…well, he’d be forced to deal with him whenever he decided burst in.
