She’s just basically in denial. Canonically too iirc) and like. Everyone is friends with Venti. Its Venti. He’s Mondstadts favorite bard.
And Traveler is Mondstadts Honorary Knight. They respect and adore them too much to be afraid. Honestly tbh, even when Traveler gets a lil unhinged id say the response is moreso “Damn, look our Honorary Knight go!” Than fear lmao.
Rex Lapis is ‘dead’. Does most of Liyue lowk already know thats false? Yeah probably. Do people suspect Traveler probably knows the guy? Totally. But do they fear them for it? Also no. Traveler is respected heavily in Liyue.
They may not havr a proper title like Honorsry Knight, but they are the Hero of Liyue. Hell, they are canonically referred to as Captain, or something along those lines by the millelith. Traveler is known to be close with multiple of the Qixing, the Adepti, and many other incredibly influential figures in Liyue.
Ntm, Rex Lapis isnt feared - not by Liyue. They adore their Archon.
Inazuma… maybe a little bit. Not likr, genuine fear, but like. The kind of intimidation you get from being incredibly politically powerful. Traveler isnt as known in Inazuma, not in the same sense. Yes, they’re close with many people.. however.
They are notably close with the three most politically powerful people in the entire nation. Kokomi, Yae Miko, and the Raiden Shogun. Ntm the Kamisato’s. Hell, in the Inazumans pov, Traveler basically stormed Tenshukaku, left with one Harbinger dead, proceeded to get fucking jumped by the Shogun.. AND THEN CAME BACK OUT ON DECENT TERMS???
Traveler is honestly a genuine mystery to Inazuma, more than any other nation. They pulled allat off in a single night. They went from being a literal rebel leader, to one of the Shogun’s closest companions. Like one of the first times the Shogun was seen just out and about was with them. The Traveler has been to the hot springs with both the Shogun and the Kitsune Guuji.
Inazuma doesnt really fear the Traveler. But they are lowk intimidated in a respect-born way, and kinda baffled.
Sumeru is respect. The Traveler is their Archons First Sage. They’re also a known hero. Also companions with politically powerful people again - Cyno, Tighnari, Al-Haitham, Kaveh, Candace.. Wanderer.
Sumeru doesnt really know Traveler as intimately, but that doesnt change the fact that they are known, and respected. We saw it in 6.6 - the general response to the Traveler, was more or less to treat them as a proxy for the Archon, to treat them with the same level of authority as the 6 Sages, if not arguably more. Nefer & Nicole were trusted so quickly, because Traveler vouched for them.
Traveler’s ‘First Sage of Buer’ title doesn’t seem to hold as much weight as say, the Honorary Knight title.. but thats clearly not true. Traveler is the person Buer trusts most above all else, and thus, the Traveler is more or less treated the closest thing to an extension of her. Traveler was the one to carry Nahida when she was unconscious for a reason.
Traveler’s a legitimate celebrity in Fontaine. And so is Furina. The pair’s relationship is more akin to like. A pair of very close, very large actors irl. Especially considering they only became close when the public perception of Furina shifted. Meanwhile Neuvillete is once again a relationship their admired for.
Nah, the friendships they ARE feared for having in Fontaine.. that’s Navia & Wrio & Clorinde.
Clorinde is basically the main executioner of Fontaine. Like its genuinely her job. Half her arc in the Fontaine AQ literally pertains to someone she dueled and executed. Traveler plays DnD with her.
Wriothesly is literally the man running the entire prison system in Fontaine, and the guys is canonically equal parts feared and respected. Traveler is buddy buddy with the guy.. even after their stint in prison. Because of, actually.
And Navia is the head of the fucking mafia. Like legitimately, I think people forget this because its Navia. But she’s literally the head of what’s essentially a mafia family?? And she calls Traveler partner.
People focus on Furina & Traveler, Escoffier & Traveler, and Neuvillete & Traveler and just. turn a blind eye to the other three. sometimes to their own detriment.
Natlan is collectively down bad for Tumaini. Next question.
Naah, but Natlan is alot closer to their Archon, as their Archon. Especially following the Natlan AQ, and Mavuika’s SQ, Mavuika is pretty close to her people. Tumaini is their hero, alongside Mavuika. They dont just respect Traveler, they fucking adore them.
Like genuinely I dont think anything could make Natlan fear Traveler.
Nod-Krai, the only people who are really aware of Columbina & Traveler’s connection is the playable cast, and the Frostmoon Scions. And Fatui.
Lauma is trying to both get them to humanize Columbina, and not deify Traveler ngl.
We’ve yet to make it to Snez yet.
People are making bets how long itll take for Traveler to befriend the Tsaritsa, and whether they’ll fight first. Its inevitable.
People might be a little intimidated by them befriending all Archons available.. but at this point? Honestly if you’re going to fear the Traveler, just fear them themselves instead of their connections.
Especially going to Snezhnaya. Dude’s coming in guns blazing.
