Group B1A4 has made a comeback after 3 years 1 month.
On the 19th, entertainment agency WM Entertainment has revealed the MV teaser of the title song āLike a Movieā of B1A4ās 4th album āOrigineā through their official social media channels, raising a lot of anticipation for their comeback. Through the 23 seconds MV teaser with an omnibus-movie style, one can feel a strong state of being immersed [into the MV teaser] and the unique aura of the 3 memberās unique colours. One scene had CNU calling someone at a telephone box and then next crying; another scene had Sandeul sitting happily opposite a girl at a table plus others unfolding a variety of stories. In particular, this MV was presented by Sunny Visualās director Yoo Seunggyun, who has been working with B1A4 for a long time. It is expected that they will display stylish and sophisticated visuals.
The title song āLike a Movieā of B1A4ās 4th album āOrigineā is CNUās self-composed song and depicts time stopping in a scene of a movie and compares that with the feelings of the lead actors in a movie. The start of the song has sounds of an old-style projector and has the effect of a silent movie, creating a magnificent atmosphere as if to announce the start of movie; together with delicate and emotional lyrics that harmonises with the song in creating a fantastic atmosphere.

In October 2018, it was Sandeulās 26th episode of Starry Night, colliding with the 100th day heās been on the radio. In order to celebrate this, B1A4 members CNU and Gongchan featured on the show, showing off their sweet friendship.

In the MV of the title song of B1A4ās āLike a Movieā, the actors and actress with zombie roles were from movie āTrain to Busanā.
B1A4 held their comeback showcase for the release of their 4thfull album āOrigineā online on the 19th.
Prior to the release, B1A4 had the interests of many by releasing a series of trailers, one of which is horror themed.
Sandeul revealed, āThey are actors and actresses from the movie āTrain to Busanā. They really have acted as zombies before. They directed their own acting so the acting is really the best. I saw them first on the way to the bathroom. I didnāt know as I was walking passed initially and they didnāt have their make up on. Then by the time I came out of the bathroom, they all became zombies. I was so scared my heart was beating so hard.ā
Aside from this, CNU confessed, āAfter filming the MV and seeing the zombies, I actually watched Train to Busan. I was so surprised when they came on, the realistic feeling was absolutely great,ā

Ā Group B1A4 made a complete comeback after around 3 years. āLike a Movieā will be a new start for the members, they are sure that it will be a happy ending.
B1A4 (CNU, Sandeul, Gongchan) held their album release online showcase in the afternoon of 19th for their 4th album āOrigineā.
āOrigineā has āLike a Movieā as the title song and the album will have a total of 12 songs. This album is expected to show all of B1A4ās accumulated musical colours. All 12 songs are composed by the members, the identity of B1A4 and their world of music will be packed inside the album. Sandeul said that āOrigineā has the meaning of origin and beginning, and that the 3 members all took part in composing, lyric-writing in the 12 songs of the album. He also said that they thought about B1A4ās identity a lot and held many meetings, thus it is an album that is heavily buried in their own colours.
The title song āLike a Movieā compares the feelings of a protagonist in a scene of a movie as if time has stopped. CNU wrote this song when he was on military duties. CNU said that it took around 2 months after military discharge, and that he really misses being on stage. He wished to return as B1A4 right after discharge, and he thought about every day during his service. Since this moment is like a movie, he said, so he made this song āLike a Movieā, hoping the fans can listen to it as soon as possible. He wondered what it would be like to give this present to fans who have been waiting.

Ā A comeback after 3 years since āRollināā. Between that time and now, B1A4 became a group of 3 from 5 members. CNU said, āWe prepared with more efforts since we are having a comeback as a 3-membered group rather than 5, knowing that fans would be very sad. I have been making music on my own before but with this album, many more stories are shared and moving forwards, I thought about the direction B1A4 should go in. We met more often because of this and had many meetings. I think this is the unique point of this album.ā
Those who are nearing their 10th year of debut will probably feel a heavier sense of responsibility. Sandeul said, āSince itās a full album, it does weigh more. I feel a heavier sense of responsibility, and thought that we must concentrate ourselves as we make a new start,ā Gongchan felt the same to this. He said, āI felt that I have more responsibility. Iām the teamās maknae so hyungs always cared for me and I relied on them a lot. But slowly, I also want to be hyungsā help and so I always had the thought that I should work harder.

Ā This time the activities will be a different starting point for B1A4. CNU said, āI had a lot of worries about B1A4ās direction from now, and it took a long time for the song āLike a Movieā to come out. The 3 vocals are good together, and because of that I treasured it more whilst writing the song. Since we became a 3-membered group from 5, itās true that I felt the same burden as we first released our first album. Still, I think that the album is a big change and challenge for us. Itās a new starting point for B1A4 to go from.ā
Sandeul said, āIād love to keep the activities from āLike a Movieā this time as memories. I really hope that many movie-like moments will unfold.ā He also spoke wittily that this movie must have a happy ending, making everyone laugh.
At the end, CNU said, āB1A4 is like pottery. There were times when we burned but we will remain as a group with lasting warmth. Itās what we hope for. We want to become a group that will have warm feelings and lasting memories in many people.

Q. The most movie-like moments when you are with the members?
GC: When CNU hyung was discharged from military? Because when CNU hyung was discharged, it felt more real. Finally we areā¦ the album we were preparing on before CNU hyung left to serve in the army, we are now able to prepare it properly. I had many thoughts such as ānow itās the startā.
Ā Q. If you had to say something on coming back after 3 years and 1 month?
SD: I love it so much and I am really happy. Iām also very proud, but also quite apologetic. Starting this full album and continuing it, we really wanted to give our album and our songs to BANAs.
Ā Q. First memories on the song āLike a Movieā?
CNU: Iām sure of this feeling of certainty/assurance when writing the song āLike a Movieāā¦ āwhat isā¦ this?ā The feeling just came to me. With regards to writing the song, the melody and the lyrics, it wasnāt immediate but it did feel quite quick. I only had this thought in mind: āMust tell the boys quicklyā. I was certain, I had certainty in this song, and I really like it. Itās also been a while since doing anything together as B1A4. We really wanted to show us doing activities together, as a three, not independently.
Ā Q. Right now, B1A4 to me isā¦?
GC: Itās difficult, but I hold on, rest a little, then work hard again. We are growing little by little and that is what expresses āB1A4ā the best.
SD: Because Gongchan and CNU hyung are here (together), I can rely on them. Because of them, I can put in more effort. Because I am with people whom allow me to think about many things, I think āreliableā is the best description.
CNU: A team that heats up warmly, with a faint heat that it not too hot but rather one that remains warm for a long time. The members and I feel the same too.

ā² "I have DMZ Concert scheduled on my birthday. There is always something scehduled on my birthday. It's great that I get to spend my birthday with fans every year ^^ "

ā² "I'm really happy that I can always spend my birthday together with fans. Because BANAs are with me I can always enjoy my birthday, divide the day happily and make unforgettable memories one by one. I'm anticipating the memories I will be making during this birthday."
- Q. [What is the meaning of birthday to Gongchan?]
ā² "It's another time when I can look back at my parents who gave birth to me and at the people who gave me love. Since it's my birthday today, aside from the people who congratulated me, I also really want to convey my thanks to all the people by my side. I won't be here today if it was not for them. Thank you everyone, I love you.ā
- Q. [In a past interview you mentioned that you looked forward to being 24 years old. Was it as you expected?]
ā² "Three years have past since that interview... Time really does past quickly, right? I don't know why I picked 24 years old but... hahaha. Comparing the Gongchan 3 years ago, the Gongchan now has matured, and Gong Chansik has taken up a lot more responsibilities by himself.ā
- Q. [If you have to pick another age you look forward to in the future?]
ā² "27 years old. I had the interview when I was 21 and now I'm 24, the age I looked forward to in 3 years. If I look back on the 3 years, many events have happened and I think I should reflect on a lot of things too. I feel that 3 years can be seen as a long or a short time that has passed. This is the period where I like to compare the me in the past to the present. I can confirm what has changed or what I have matured from. When I become 27, if I compare the 24 years old Gongchan, Gong Chansik, I think there may be a lot of changes then too?"
- Q. [If you have to pick a song that matches the Gongchan this birthday year?]
ā² "I don't know if this matches with my birthday this year but I want to recommend a song called 'Nice Dream' by Theories of Youth. Dreams are beautiful personal space during sleeps. There are dreams that have given me lots of energy and then later on became my hope for the next day. I might find the day difficult or receive a lot of stress but by dreaming a good dream, I like that I will have the strength to focus on my goals."
- Q. [You said that after your birthday, you would like to go camping with the members. Is it happening?]
ā² "Not all the members were there but we did go to Bali for a trip for the first time. ^^. Baro hyung, Sandeul hyung and I went as a 3 for this trip. It's regrettable but Jinyoung hyung and CNU hyung had their own schedules and couldn't join. The Bali trip was quite unplanned since we decided to go two day before, bought plane tickets and chose where to stay in a day... it wreally was a spectacle. However it was really fun. The trip was instantaneous and each and every things we did were fun ^^. We weren't good at the foreign language there and had to use body language to express ourselves. We also had to pick what we wanted to do at night (for the next day). Food wise we went to local restaurants and decide whether the food there will be tasty, we also ate street food to our heart's content. The trip was really spent with no regrets. I really was happy and enjoyed spending time together with hyungs. Of course I would liek to do on another trip with all the members next time!"
- Q. [Is there someone in particular you want to receive a birthday congratulation from?]
ā² "From Yoo Jae Suk sunbaenim. We share the same birthday! I want to receive a birthday message from him and I also want to congratulate him too ^^. Also I want to consult him about my worries. He gives a lot of good advice so I would like to listen to his words. I feel like his advice will allow me to work harder."
- Q. [Is there an aim you wish to achieve through your birthday wish?]
ā² "There are still 4 months left to 2016. I really liked that I could meet all the fans through various activities! I will work hard to the same extent so that we can meet and be together with everyone. Thank you for waiting for us, and we will walk on flower-filled roads only in the future! - Q. [Is there something you wish for from the members on your birthday?]
