This project sprung from our appreciation of music sharing and collaboration. Seemingly directionless digging through both the physical landscape and the internet ether to present our “sides” in a unifying light. The hands-on, homemade nature of dubbing cassettes and utilizing the paraphernalia of a listening era before our own came with lots of trial and error. Thank you to the DIY youtubers and cassette hobbyist forum-posters for all your help. It has been a fulfilling endeavor to work with the hip-clip, clunky portable, take-it-to-your-friend’s, pop-in music technology of a past evolution. The reward is the creation.
