The Nobel Prize for Literature is being awarded in October 2012. And of course Haruki Murakami is among the top favorites to win it yet again. His current odds are at 10/1 - just about similar to the odds he had in the past few years where he sadly never managed to come out on top.

The last time Japan won a Nobel Prize in Literature was in 1994 when Kenzaburō Ōe was awarded the prize. Almost twenty years later it should be HARUKI TIME at last, shouldn’t it?!
