not to follow the stereotypes that the saja boys played into, but i genuinely believe that baby really is the maknae (youngest) of the group, but i don't think that jinu is the oldest out of the five saja boys either.

at the same time, it's still really weird that the four other boys except jinu seem to be sluggish whenever the idol persona is off. so i have some theories on how demons become 'zombie-like' which are basically:

typically, humans turned demons who go on for centuries eventually lose their sense of self, hence the memory loss

as this goes on longer they eventually become more demon-like, until finally evolving into a full demon (mystery with the full fangs)

this isn't always true, as some humans (jinu) may subconsciously hold onto their humanity out of overwhelming regret or spite

humans who are more 'sinful' become more and more demonic much faster. this could either be the demons who actively chase after souls, or humans turned demons have killed people in the past, and lastly;

pleading for gwi-ma's help to erase their memories straight up

so with all these taken into mind i'd like to share my new favorite headcanon:

He's OLD. Like, 13th century old.

Specifically living during the Mongol Invasion of Korea.

Born the youngest son of some high-ranking militar in the city of Kaesong, and was basically raised as a child-soldier in the war times.

So yeah, he saw some shit.

All this just so I can justify a 2nd headcanon: Baby is the best fighter amongst the Saja Boys.

He has years of formal combat training drilled into his head and muscles since childhood, and the sadistic tendencies to keep those skills sharp for the centuries that followed.

Obviusly not Huntr/x levels of skill and power, but he's cunning and experienced enough to make it really hard in a 1v1, especially with demon powers thrown into the mix.
