Driving around in first-person (usually a bad idea) in Cyberpunk 2077 as a netrunner build and using the self-destruct quickhack on NPC cars that annoy me or that run into me is the closest I can get to being able to explode bad drivers with my mind. It's like therapy. Oh you overtake me? You violate my right of way? Well your car is going to explode now. Idiot.
her outfit was based on the casual cosplay I did for the first kpdh sing along release in theater. also if anyone is confused on who the little bird is, that's her mascot in my version of this au!
Been working on this role reverse Zoey piece last week when I thought the idea of a mascot would be a cute detail for it. Always favored the name "S/REN" for the girls in this au and stuck with it but instead of going the mermaid route, I figured I'd try out the greek mythology way (which is half-human, half-bird).
The criteria I followed for each girl were based on the descriptions used in the concept art of their norigaes. Also all birds are referenced from those found in South Korea!

Zoey (Long-tailed tit)
First pass - Wanted to see if I could make a half-human, half-bird look cute first
Second pass - Liked the idea of a human "disguised" as a bird so I opted to make it look like a hood but the overall design didn't scream mascot to me
Third pass - Really wanted each girl to have varying designs. Considering Zoey is the shortest of the three, Shooky from BT21 came to mind. Small and cute so I went for the full blorbo route. Plus seeing photos of how spherical the actual bird I referenced was, it felt fitting.
Mira (Red-crowned crane)
First pass - A crane was suggested by someone on Twitter and found the red-crowned crane to match Mira. Though it was very frightening to draw the actual anatomy first.. LOL Definitely not marketable plushie material for fans.
Second pass - I liked to look at plushes when starting to simplify the design. Found this crane plush that focused more on the legs and had a bowling pin shaped body. It was silly but you can see it clearly worked on me.
Third pass -Tried to avoid including their full hairstyles since most k-pop mascots have either the bangs or certain traits to signify the idol they represent. But I didn't want to lose the red spot from the bird itself so I figured her hair was a good touch.
Rumi (Eurasian magpie)
First pass - I like to imagine in this au, Rumi has a stronger connection with Sussie so she ends up picking magpie as her mascot bird (definitely not because the magpie is the country's national bird). Can't deny. She actually looked good with the proper anatomy..
Second pass - Her mascot was the hardest to come up with. Circling back to the hair situation, Rumi's braid is iconic to her design and trying to not make it look like full-blown hair was a rough time.
Third pass - Not 100% satisfied with her design.. Tried to balance her shape between Zoey's and Mira's but she ended up looking like a fall guys character LMFAO Also ended up going through with the hair when I thought Mang's mane design (from BT21) was a perfect way to simplify Rumi's braid.
Seeing mystery in a Ronald McDonald style outfit in the commercial is funny but slightly cursed.
Jinu really looked at Mira's promo and said, "dude I need you to lock in for me" and chose to dress Mystery up full costume WITH DYED RED HAIR in that cunty ass pose
Me: Yeah, I’m normal about my ships, I don’t need canon material.
Also me after seeing one (1) frame of Zoey, Mystery, and Baby together: he’s looking at her. he’s angled towards her. his body language suggest he’s interested. zoeybaby is real and mystery is silently watching her too which means zoesterby is real too. can anybody hear me. look at them. look at them now.

“…I’m not welcome there. They never actually liked me…so what’s your excuse?”
“If you’re not welcome there then it’s only a matter of time before I’m also not welcome.”
He kneeled down till he was sitting on the damp sidewalk next to her, keeping the umbrella over them both now.
“I’m so sorry…for everything…I just…I wanted them to like me so bad, and if they liked me then everyone likes me and it just felt so good to be seen, to be noticed, to me admired and sought out…I completely pushed you aside…I’m sorry.”
He stared at her for a moment before shaking his head.
“Terrible apology.”
“What?”
“I’ve known you for 13 years and you expect me to accept that as an apology?”
“I…I’m s-”
“You and I both know that isn’t how we apologize.”
He leaned in close, his hand coming up to wipe away the mascara running down her cheek.
“Plus…I’ll be honest there isn’t anything you could do to me that would push me away…I invested too much time into you for some bullshit teenage midlife crisis.”
She sniffled and a laugh broke through that made him smile.
“I’ll buy you dinner on the way home.”
“See THAT is how you apologize, come on I want KBBQ.”
