Klance Host Club Au thing I’ve been thinking about for a while and took me forever to draw (why are the Ouran backgrounds so detailed??)

I see Keith as being the bad boy type, and Lance being the princely type

Lance may be a flirt with all of the girls, but he’s got a secret crush on his fellow host and loves flustering the typically distant boy with flowers and compliments

Keith may act like he’s annoyed by these advances, but he can’t ignore the way his heart pitter-patters when Lance’s attention is on him. It allows Keith to fleetingly entertain the hope that maybe, just maybe, Lance might like him back…..

Iris, unlike her twin brother, Marco, was a light sleeper and spooked easily in the night (something they’d tried to combat by littering her wall with as many glow in the dark stars as they could fit and soft nightlights that hung over her bed). Therefore, it wasn’t uncommon for Keith and Lance - also light sleepers, having had it built into them from their Voltron days - to wake up in the middle of the night to the little pitter patter of her tiny feet on hardwood floor and the squeak of their bedroom door (because Keith kept forgetting to oil the hinge) followed by the the quiet trembling voice of their daughter that marked the signs of a nightmare. On those nights, Keith and Lance would take her back to bed and climb in with her, all three of them squeezing into her single bed, and they would whisper stories to her of their youthful adventures until her little eyes drifted closed
